Saghya is such a rare gem that I don’t understand why it was removed from the catalog, especially when they’re still selling more generic scents like Sedley. It opens with bright, fresh citrus notes, then transitions into a clean, masculine wood that isn’t aggressive. It doesn’t smell old or sweet; instead, it exudes a serene and masterful elegance. It’s exactly what’s missing today: freshness with character and sophistication without going overboard. I only wear it for special occasions because it’s hard to find; for daily use, I go with Percival or Darley, and in winter, Herod. Among fresh niche fragrances, Saghya is in my top 3 from the house. Its discontinuation left a bitter taste, like when a great wine stops being produced. It’s an irreparable loss for those who truly value fine perfumery.
Incredible perfume, but it’s discontinued. Ideal for adults and very luxurious. It’s heavily woody, starting with citrus and finishing with a powerful cedar, with hints of oud and lots of vetiver. It’s clearly masculine, with great projection and sillage. As always, test before buying, but if you like vetiver and can find bottles, you have a good shot at loving it.
Wow, the opening is brutal, or at least that’s how I feel: a blend of Persian lemon, pepper, and wood resins from the oud. But as it dries down, it transforms completely and smells amazing, like a lemon cream with a warm touch of wood and musk, akin to exotic body cream. It’s one of the few citrus scents that isn’t artificial or realistic like Chanel Allure; here, the style is creamy and milky without the notes giving it away. Longevity 8/10, versatility 8/10, originality 10/10, and sillage 8/10. Maybe within PDM it doesn’t reach the heights of Herod or Layton, but it’s an interesting gem that doesn’t deserve the hype it lacks.
It starts very simply, like a lemon cream with a touch of pepper. As it dries down, a woody base emerges in the first hour, followed by the oud that makes the difference. It’s fresh and complex, nothing like a cleaning product lemon scent, but rather creamy and substantial. Its evolution is the key. Very energizing, moderate sillage, and lasts about 5 to 6 hours. Recommended for informal spring and summer wear, and it looks perfect on people over 25. Scent 7/10, sillage 5.5/10, longevity 6.5/10, and fixative power 8/10.
