To me, it smells citrusy, floral, with those wood notes that give it a vintage touch; honestly, I love it.
A fragrance I used when I was young…
Sensus by Avon smells aromatic, spicy, and woody. At first, it’s fresh and floral, with that classic herbal lavender that reminds me of YSL Jazz and Ralph Lauren Safari from the 80s and 90s. Then the spices kick in, a bit of nutmeg and coriander. In the dry down, it’s wood, amber, tobacco, and sandalwood. It’s a bit formal, but also great for going out in spring or fall. If you’re looking for something like Jazz or Safari that you can’t find anymore, this is a great alternative; the price gives it away, but it smells good. It lasted about 10 hours with normal projection.
SENSUS CLASSICA – AVON: Another Avon classic, perfect for the office. Smells modern and elegant, more for formal wear. The ingredients sound natural, it adds class and good taste, and it beats many current designer offerings. It’s very similar to the original Ralph Lauren Safari, not the reformulated version, which makes it special. It’s a serious scent, neither too youthful nor too mature, for men 25 and up. It performs well: projects nicely for over two hours and lasts between six and seven hours. Along with Avon Absolute, it’s one of the best if you’re looking for something versatile for all year round, office, or nights out. For scent, price, and longevity, it’s one of the top options. Scent: 9.0. Projection: good. Longevity: 6-7 hours. Highly recommended.
