Scent Essence – Romantic Bouquet by Avon

What a great perfume, so good! 😍 It smells like soft flowers from the first spray all the way through the dry-down and lasts quite a while. On my skin, the rose really stands out, which is exactly what I love. I used to wear it with the light blue from the same line, and it was a divine combination. I stopped using it because it doesn’t last on me at all; I have dry skin and fragrances fade quickly. But this line is absolutely delicious and very affordable for everyday wear. It’s a shame they only come in 30ml.

I decided to buy it for the price and those peony and freesia notes I absolutely love. The opening is super floral and exquisite, but the dry-down smelled terrible; the vetiver ruined everything, leaving it old and damp. I won’t be buying it again just for that. The rest is great though.

I hated it 😢. I had high hopes for this perfume; I own the three available in Argentina: Tutti Frutti, Pure Ocean, and this Romantic Bouquet, so I was counting on this one, but it just didn’t work with my skin. It leaves a nasty, artificial scent, like magazine paper or ink. I know that sounds weird, but honestly, that’s what it reminds me of. There’s nothing sweet or richly floral about it on my skin (maybe it’s my pH and it works for others). I love the bottle—it’s super delicate and practical, the color is divine—but the scent isn’t for me, so I’ll have to gift it away. A real disappointment. 😕

It’s a shame the other versions aren’t available in my country, Argentina. I really liked it; I was looking for something pure and rose-focused within the Avon line, and this is the one that convinced me most. It’s incredibly rich, very floral, natural, soft, and realistic. It’s like having your nose in a bouquet of fresh flowers. I can smell the roses even though peony and freesia are listed in the composition. I’m very satisfied. It’s perfect for gifting because it’s unlikely to be rejected.

I like it, it’s sweet and fresh. It doesn’t last long, but it’s a pleasant smell 🙂

It’s one of those scents everyone used to have in their collection—a standard one with a prominent floral note. Personally, I don’t like it much since I prefer sweeter fragrances. It feels like a scent for staying at home. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a 2; it smells almost identical to Avon’s Eau Bouquet.
