The only good thing this perfume had on me was its longevity. On my skin, the woods stand out in an unpleasant way; the rose isn’t fresh—it’s more of a vintage, powdery perfumer’s rose. There’s a hint of smoke or an acidic coffee bean note; I don’t know how to put it, but it wasn’t pleasant for me. Honestly, I can’t stand this perfume. That said, the packaging is gorgeous and the longevity is a solid 10/10.

The only thing that saved it for me was the longevity. On my skin, the woods don’t work; the rose smells vintage and dusty, and there’s a smoky or acidic coffee bean note that just doesn’t sit right. I couldn’t take it. The packaging is gorgeous, though, and the longevity is a solid 10/10.

Finally, I got my hands on it! I love it. It feels soft, and I don’t detect the roses at all—just a makeup-like scent at first. The dry-down is the best part. I don’t think it has much sillage, so I’ll test it on a cool day. It’s perfect for daytime and work; it’s not annoying to anyone.

It smells identical to Zara Red Temptation, but more delicate, less spicy, smokier, and more animalic. It’s excellent, but honestly, it’s not worth the price.

I’ll start at the end because sometimes we don’t have time to read nonsense. Rose Alba lasts forever; on my skin it lasts all day and doesn’t come out of clothes even with hot water. The sillage is noticeable. For a niche perfume, the price is reasonable—it’s a buy. It smells of sandalwood and a fruity, vanilla rose. There’s nothing smoky here; it’s wood! It starts sharp, then turns creamy and velvety thanks to the sandalwood and fruits. I know many are scared off by prominent woods, fearing it might be too ‘masculine,’ but this is feminine from start to finish. The rose isn’t fresh or vase-like; it’s slightly powdery but surprisingly youthful. The vanilla is present, but not gourmand; it has spicy facets. I think the ugly bottle should be nude to hint at what’s inside. I detect makeup notes and a bit of ‘coquetry.’ If you like Delina Exclusif, you’ll love this; they’re related, though Rose Alba feels more wintry and less luminous. It’s supposedly inspired by Cleopatra, but I don’t see the queen here—more like a Charlotte Casiraghi. She looks a bit dressed up (no stilettos or sequins). A delicious rose scent: sweet, woody, with an almost smoky touch that adds warmth and depth. Ideal for autumn and winter, day or night, it feels elegant and sensual. The sillage isn’t invasive; it’s present at a close distance, perfect for intimacy. It could be unisex, but it leans more feminine to me. I love it! I tested it side-by-side with L’Extase Rose Absolue by Nina Ricci, and they are very similar in scent and performance; the latter is a bit more affordable. A great alternative.

A super original fragrance that has me hooked. The presentation is beautiful and high-quality, and the scent is perfect: a fresh rose wrapped in cream, with noticeable fruit and a soft oriental touch. It’s very feminine for me, but my son loved it, so I think it’s adaptable. The only difference is that on my skin, I detect a salty note, similar to Olympea, but it’s not listed, so I’m not sure if it’s just my skin chemistry. The longevity was impressive, almost 12 hours, with moderate projection for about 2 to 3 hours. It’s a very special fragrance.
