  I’m a violet fanatic and found info on this Avon trio. I wasn’t hopeful, as it sometimes smells synthetic or nothing like the real thing. The other two in the collection aren’t great, but this one really shines. It opens with a potent violet, very ‘Parma Violetta’ style. Avon gifts us a dark violet with a strong opening, balanced by bergamota to offset the sweetness with a tart note. The best part comes later: the violet calms down, becomes lighter, the acidity vanishes, and the powdery sweetness shines. It’s that violet perfume the world went crazy for in the early 1900s. Patchouli adds a dark touch that lasts all day, but it doesn’t stand out; the undisputed queen is the violet. Good projection for the first hour, then soft on the skin. Lasts about 5 hours. Price/quality is impeccable. Well done, Avon.

  Bought it today, and it outperforms what Fragrantica says. It opens citrusy with a hint of alcohol, then explodes into creamy, talc-like violets. I don’t detect patchouli, but rather a vanilla nuance that softens them, reminiscent of Parma Violetta. It’s delicious: fresh yet cozy, innocent and slightly coquettish. If you like violets, you’ll love it. The only downside is low longevity and sillage, but for $4 in Argentina, it’s worth it.

  As Selene says, the violet reigns here. For the price, the longevity is outstanding. Kudos to Avon; I love their single-flower launches, and this one doesn’t disappoint.

  Starts with a potent, talc-like violet, but after two hours, the bergamota refreshes everything. To me, this is winter incarnate.
