Estée Lauder Pleasures is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 1995, this composition was created by Annie Buzantian and Alberto Morillas. The top notes reveal a vibrant, green atmosphere featuring freesia, pink pepper, violet, violet leaves, neroli, and red berries. The heart unfolds an intense floral orchestration with valley lily, peony, lilac, lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, geranium, and karoo karoundé flower. The base settles on a warm, woody foundation of musk, cedar, sandalwood, and patchouli.

Pleasures smells like a sunny field of white flowers. I must admit that on me, it projects better at night, in warm but not excessive climates. I think it’s ideal for summer nights. It’s a floral with a lot of presence, yet fresh. It doesn’t make me fall in love, but it seduces me, and in honor of its name, it’s very pleasurable to wear.
It’s a very delicate, exquisite, elegant, soft yet present floral. I notice lots of white flowers and hints of slightly acidic red fruits that give it a pleasant balance. Without a doubt, it’s an excellent perfume.
Along with Cristalle EDP, this is what I use most in the summer. It’s a wonderful bouquet of flowers, slightly powdery, fresh but with that extra bit found in great fragrances. Men adore it; when a woman wears it, it’s magic. The sillage and longevity are excellent; I don’t have to reapply during the day, or only on summer nights. What a great brand, Estée Lauder.
I must admit it lasts quite a bit on my skin, but I have to pair it with something citrusy because the only thing that dominates are the freesias, and I feel like I’m in a cemetery.
Pleasures lives up to its name: I felt pleasure smelling it fresh out of the bottle, and I still feel it after 20 years. It’s bottled spring, fresh and floral, with a sharp soapy opening that I recommend trying before buying, as it might bother some people. It looks better in the heat, although my pH makes it last only a couple of hours. It’s too good not to own.
I started wearing it a few days ago, and its opening is fascinating. It gives me freshness and lasts more than 7 hours on my skin and clothes. I work in perfumery, and although I initially judged it as not versatile and too mature without smelling it, I’m now fascinated by it.
It’s a peony perfume with a green touch, like being in a summer garden. At first, I notice soft aldehydes. It’s cheerful yet mature, not vintage. It’s not super formal, but definitely classic. It reminds me of 5th Avenue but is more yellow floral, whereas Pleasures is greener. It brings to mind the Gwyneth Paltrow campaign, which captures its essence perfectly. It lasts 4-6 hours with a moderate trail.
This is my favorite perfume; I love it. It smells floral, fresh, and clean. I’ve been wearing it since I was 18 as a godmother gift, and I’m still grateful for it today. I recommend it for all ages, but if you’re looking for something sweet, this might not be for you.
I absolutely loved this gift! At first, I was hesitant because I’m a gourmand fanatic and don’t usually wear florals, but it’s an incredible discovery. It leaves me feeling fresh, elegant, and confident. The trail lasts up to 8 hours on my skin and is perfect for summer. I detect neroli, jasmine, and musk at the top notes. Without a doubt, I’ll be buying it again when I run out.
What perfumes! Pleasures by Estée Lauder, Miracle by Lancôme, Romance by Ralph Lauren, and Happy Heart by Clinique. They never miss! I prefer more intense scents—sometimes hyper-neroli and jasmine, other times black currants—but this list is infallible.
I rate this formulation, and my amazement is as follows: perfumer Morillas, across different brands, is a master (thanks for his masterpieces)… for florals, he’s the magician of my favorites. I bought this in Paris; I was fascinated, so when it ran out, I mistakenly thought I could find it in Mexico… ;(, yes, that’s how it was, and I don’t know if due to shipping or the decision that in America we’re a different world, unfortunately, it was a different world to experience that. Honestly, at Lauder, according to versions, they change it for the market; it would be convenient to have their scent evaluation panel. Regardless of them hiding behind skin pH. Let’s remember, friends, that the sense of smell is unique in life and memories. Thanks for reading me.
I wore it for years and had to tell people what I was wearing countless times. It’s a fresh and lovely scent that almost everyone likes. It’s very easy to wear, a fresh and classic vibe, a charming floral.
I won it in a Christmas game, so it’s a great gift. It’s not one of my favorites, but I use it occasionally. It has good longevity on the skin, not much sillage, smells neutral, is clean, yet I feel it’s strong.
It’s super floral and gives the sensation of just stepping out of the shower, very clean and fresh. It’s not one of my favorites, but I don’t dislike it; it’s great for extremely hot days.
My first memory of this perfume is an afternoon at my godmother’s house. I was under ten, asking permission to open her closet, and I was amazed by the feminine secrets: fabrics, makeup, creams, and a bottle of Pleasures. That scent accompanied her hugs, the fabrics, the pillows, everywhere. She passed away almost a month ago, and while looking for something tangible to bring her back to me, I remembered it was her perfume for years. At a crucial work event, I passed a perfumery to check it out, and I wasn’t wrong: it evoked memories full of tenderness, so I decided to buy it. Here comes the magic: I didn’t have to wait long. I had my birthday, and my dad gifted me the perfume I wanted (he didn’t know anything). I found a 100ml set, one for my bag and a scented cream; there were three boxes. I got home, and my mom wanted one for herself, so she ordered it. The next day, the saleswoman Ileana told me I’d brought her luck: a few hours later, a gentleman took the two remaining boxes, but she ordered three more. Three days later, she called me to tell me I’d brought her luck again: after my purchase, two ladies also bought that perfume, and the other two boxes were already reserved. Anyway, none of this has to do with the scent, which others have already reviewed; my review is a love story with a touch of magic. I highly recommend this perfume, especially if you’re a flower enthusiast and want to stand out among current sweet trends.
I have to talk about this wonderful perfume. I suffer from migraines, and choosing one is a torment because sometimes I love the opening, but then it gives me a headache. With this one, the unthinkable happened: I adore its opening, and its longevity feels so natural that I don’t even notice it, but others do, so I get compliments. I replenish it every year, wanting to find that magic again, but none surpass the natural way Pleasures blends into my skin and daily life. I’d define it as a floral bath, discreet and feminine, my salvation for smelling good for myself and others.
Always wonderful. I’ve had it since the beginning and there’s never a bottle missing from my vanity. It’s one of my all-time favorites, earning me countless compliments. When I was little, I’d visit my grandmother in the countryside; she had a yard with a lilac tree, and every time I passed, I’d lean in and say, ‘how it smells good.’ Pleasures smells exactly like that. The lilac is very prominent, it’s the flower that stands out the most, maybe because of my memory. Combined with the orange blossom I adore, it gives it an extraordinary creaminess. Absolutely recommended even after all this time.
Truly wonderful. I wore it almost 20 years ago during a very difficult time in my life, so I associate it with that. It’s incredible how our sense of smell can transport us back and revive flashes of experiences, good or bad. But, as I said, it’s a work of art.
This is one of my signature scents, perfect for those who love florals with green and clean touches. It lasts about six hours, with moderate sillage at first and is very versatile for all seasons. Nothing too overpowering and extremely flattering.
I already own it, but I barely use it. I think I have an issue with perfumes featuring green notes. I simply don’t like them.
What a beautiful perfume. On my skin, the green note harmonizes with the flowers to create a feminine, neat, and delicate aroma. Suitable for all mild days, for any occasion; it could be a signature scent for anyone.
Super fresh fragrance! Very green opening, then the flowers start to join in. Good longevity, lasts about 6 hours. Moderate sillage. Very lovely, I’d definitely buy it again.
I love the scent, but it’s very soft, doesn’t last long, and feels weak. What a pity because it smells so soft and pleasant. Very floral, just as I like, but too poor in longevity and sillage.
Delicious and soft, so pleasant that it fascinates me. Despite being many years old, the first time I tried it, I fell in love with the green notes.
One of the best florals ever. I saw it in a fashion magazine in the mid-90s and it’s been with me since then. It’s a pure fragrance; it doesn’t need a thousand notes to stand out. Good longevity and the bottle is a tribute to subtlety.
Extremely floral, fresh, and soft fragrance. Its strength isn’t the sillage; you only notice it when you’re close. It’s discreet but delicate and delicious. The green notes are a hit. Ideal for smelling good without leaving a huge trail, something simple, clean, and neat.
The first time I smelled it, it seemed very floral and vintage. I tried it again months later and it was delightful, especially in colder months. It’s enveloping, calm, fresh, and feminine. A relaxed, fresh elegance that’s a pleasure.
One of the best florals out there: despite having many flowers, it’s neither sweet nor overpowering. I bought it twice and repurchased it years later because of the price. It smells green and clean; the opening is potent and can be a bit much at first, but then the flowers blend into a subtle aroma. It’s not loud, it’s personal and present. It doesn’t last long on my skin, but it does linger on clothes. Perfect for any season if you want to feel clean and fresh.
A fresh scent, but one note feels too spicy for me and prevents me from enjoying it. I tried it several times to no avail. The bottle design, however, always seems elegant to me.
Fresh but with substance, because the flowers really shine through. Very elegant, perfect for a woman with personality who wants to be noticed.
I will love this little perfume for all my life. I adore its very feminine and elegant florality.
A floral explosion in every sense. If you like smelling a field planted with sweet, rich, and especially feminine flowers, this is your fragrance. It’s not heavy or cloying. It has excellent projection, lasts hours on the skin, and even after washing, it still smells on the clothes.
It’s a special perfume, like wearing a bouquet of freshly cut flowers; it doesn’t feel artificial. It makes me think of an Impressionist painting. It’s very feminine, aromatic, and elegant. Its longevity is good and the sillage is moderate; I think on rainy days its green notes are enhanced, which I don’t entirely like because it gives me a somewhat bitter sensation, but generally, on hot or cold days, it works very well.
For me, it’s a tremendous white floral, fresh, and greenish. It smells like freshly cut flowers and stems. The backdrop is a woody, earthy musk. Elegant. It’s one of those classics that doesn’t feel vintage, and for that reason, it could be part of a collection for decades.
A classic that never disappoints. It’s a clean white floral, particularly I don’t smell any rose; it’s a bit powdery and even metallic. It suits any age, perfect for an elegant woman. It doesn’t feel vintage; it would easily be your signature scent.
A crystal-clear, green, fresh, and very floral scent. To me, it’s the absolute king of fresh florals that were trendy in the late 90s and early 2000s. Still, it doesn’t feel old or anything; it continues to convey the same freshness, vitality, and innocence as always. This is floral, but not a white or yellow floral, nor a cloying mix of wilted roses and dry jasmine. It’s a magnificent green floral, fresh, clean, and crystal-clear. It makes me think of a glass window looking out onto a colorful garden and a body of water in the background. It’s the signature scent of several people I know, perhaps because they wore it in their youth or simply because they like it. Who doesn’t need one? The main flowers are rose, jasmine, lilac, freesia, and geranium, all taken to their cleanest and purest extremes. I don’t detect the neroli or lily mentioned, which is a hit, because those white flowers tend to get muddy and add an erotic touch, which would be out of place here. Like all classics, this perfume has no age, but it has the ability to adapt to its wearer. Still, I recommend using it during the day and in spring or summer, because it evokes that freshness that’s appreciated in the heat, and it has something that makes it more suitable for daytime wear.
Pleasures is a timeless floral classic that never gets old and continues to enchant with its freshness and simplicity. Since its launch, countless fragrances have copied it, which is probably why it doesn’t stand out among so many sweet and loud perfumes now. That’s a huge mistake. Pleasures reminds us that there is infinite beauty in naturalness and discretion. It’s innocent, luminous, like walking through a sunny meadow full of flowers and greenery. A wild bouquet of pure spring, elegant and delicate. It has a soapy base that evokes sheets dried in the sun. I consider it very versatile; no one would guess it’s 30 years old, but it’s still here! Pure, transparent, cool, almost chilly, yet tender. A precious fragrance.
Delicious, soft, and innocent; it smells like rain on flowers. But in my case, it has no sillage and doesn’t last—I only smell it on myself. Plus, maybe it’s too innocent, almost like a little girl’s perfume.
Delicious, soft, and floral, with that springtime and youthful touch that I adore. The only downside is that it doesn’t have much sillage and doesn’t last long on the skin.
I absolutely love it! I’ve been wearing it for 29 years, and even though I have many other perfumes, this one always makes me fall in love again. I don’t know how many bottles I’ve finished just to buy it again. I’ve tried special editions, but I love it for its freshness and elegance.
