Oud Candy by BORNTOSTANDOUT® is a 2025 olfactory creation designed for men and women. This new fragrance, signed by perfumer Margaux Le Paih Guérin, opens with a vibrant top note of brown sugar, sweet notes, milk, and nuts. Its floral heart of white flowers gives way to a complex and sophisticated base that combines oud wood, leather, caramel, saffron, dark woody notes, sandalwood, oakmoss, ambroxan, vanilla, and cedar.

For me (and many others), this is the best in the BTSO Extrait Extreme line so far, exploring a rarely used territory with the concentration that gives it such unique behavior. At first, it was hard to pinpoint the scent: a restrained sweetness, nut oils, and a tricky vanilla note, paired with dry woods, a creamy sandalwood base, and caramelized spices where no single note dominates. Soft as a second skin at first, but when it warms up or you sweat, it explodes into its best notes: saffron, flowers, all integrated… an experience! I suggest trying it to explore its facets before buying.
Started on blotter and wow, so interesting: sweet opening with nutty hints and a subtle vanilla, then the wood and animalic oud kick in—a total delight. On skin it’s almost the same but the order flips: woods and oud come first, leaving the sparkling sweet notes lingering in the background. My partner couldn’t stop smelling it; it’s super addictive, truly incredible.
