  Finally received this masterpiece and it exceeded my already high expectations. What a beautifully crafted gourmand fragrance. I wore it at 4 PM and at 10:40 PM it still has the same intensity. The scent is delicious and addictive; I want to keep smelling it, liking it more each moment. What does it smell like? A combination of sweet nuts. You can detect the vanilla, but it doesn’t just smell like vanilla; the vanilla doesn’t overpower. It’s like a blend of nuts, with some cereal (you can almost feel the texture), with added vanilla sweetness. Don’t worry if you don’t tolerate sweet, heavy perfumes: it is sweet, yes, but not ‘cavity-causing.’ It’s like a gourmet pastry from a fine bakery, with just the right sweetness so even non-sweets lovers enjoy it. Although it’s long-lasting and persistent (and don’t stop eating yourself), it’s not dense, heavy, opulent, or overwhelming. Instead, it’s light yet very persistent. 10 out of 10, hands down. As a gourmand lover, I feel it’s totally unisex. If you like them and are a collector, buy blind; I doubt you’ll regret it.

  To my nose, it’s candied almond egg candies with that loose powder sprinkled between them. Something light and fluffy, with a strong almond presence. It’s not loud or excessively sweet; quite pleasant and airy. It still smells like a real perfume. The sample arrived and I debated whether to buy the bottle or not. My hesitation is the price—over $200; if it cost half that, I might buy it, but the final decision isn’t made yet.

  Smells very similar to Jany by Sora Dora, though for some personal reason I always prefer Jany.

  Haha! A feast of sweet nuts, powerful and very much in the gourmand style. Natural, realistic notes that are easy to identify but blend perfectly together.
