Purple Stain by BORNTOSTANDOUT® is an oriental spicy fragrance from the olfactive family, designed for men and women. Launched in 2025, this new scent was created by perfumer Jordi Fernández. Its olfactive composition unfolds with a vibrant top note of saffron, cinnamon, mandarin, bergamot, nutmeg, ginger, and citrus peel; a warm, sweet heart featuring orange blossom, Peru balsam, vanilla, and caramel; and a deep, long-lasting base revealing oud wood, Akigalawood, labdanum, patchouli, nagarmota, Ambrofix™, and concrete.

I’m completely smitten. It’s managed to make me fall back in love with oud, even though I’m tired of the fake oud trend that smells like everything. This one doesn’t. It’s addictive, surprising, and you like it even if you don’t want to. Regarding longevity on skin, let me give you an example: I wore it to a summer dinner; the next day I showered, went swimming in the sea, and when I got in the water, I could still smell it. The only downside is the price, but we all know that one.
Caught me off guard. I was expecting something dark and complex, but nothing like that. Don’t get me wrong, this is a luxury niche fragrance, not for beginners. But reading the notes, I had other expectations. The opening is super fruity and sweet, smelling like mango or tropicals. It’s great because it perfectly balances that balsamic and resinous wave that comes later. Everything with the just-right dose of sweetness. It’s fantastic and interesting. And to top it all off, its longevity and projection are nuclear.
