  Synthetic aroma smelling of burnt plastic, like tanning lotion or sunscreen. Nothing special to my nose. I don’t know if anyone likes it, but I don’t think so.

  Terrible quality perfume, smells super synthetic, like fast food with too much sauce and smelly plants. I tested it on a sample and something never happened before: I wanted to shower to get rid of this stench. I’m used to letting a cologne evolve, so I’ll keep wearing it, but I’ve never had to tolerate a perfume this much. WHAT A STENCH!

  I let it evolve naturally. As Bray Altamirano says, its ending smell is like burnt plastic; after 4 hours, it smells like cheap tanning lotion.

  Smells like edible trash with sauce and rotting plants. I tested it on a sample and immediately wished to shower to get rid of that stench. I prefer letting a cologne evolve, so I’ll keep it, but it has never cost me so much to wear a perfume. So gross!

  On paper, indistinct citrus notes and some coconut with a touch of violet leaf. On skin, a creamy citrus opening, like a lemon cookie with coconut filling. At the dry-down, a spicy note with pepper. At 5 hours on skin, a slightly plastic feel; on paper, the pepper and nutmeg are more noticeable. Heat accelerates development: at 7 hours on skin, weak cedar with that synthetic feel. On paper at 12 hours, lavender, cedar base, oakmoss, and coconut water. Floral and coumarin notes are also noticeable. It’s quite synthetic, but it has applications: for young people or those with little fragrance experience, in summer, and at the beach. Due to the coconut note reminiscent of tanning lotion. In heat, moderate application in open spaces. Moderate sillage, fading to skin-level after 12 hours. Totally informal. Forbidden for ‘naturals’.

  At first, on paper, I detected vague citrus notes and some coconut water, though it also reminded me of violet leaf. On skin, it was different: a creamy citrus opening, like a lemon cookie with coconut filling. Then I felt the spicy note, the pepper. After 5 hours on skin, it felt a bit plastic-like; on paper, the pepper and nutmeg were noticeable (heat accelerates development on skin). At 7 hours on skin, I perceived weak cedar with that synthetic sensation. On paper, some lavender was detectable. At 12 hours on skin, a residual base of cedar, possible oakmoss, and coconut water. On paper, florals and coumarin were felt. Certainly, it’s quite synthetic, even for my taste, but it has applications for certain moments, places, and audiences. I see it for very young people or teens with little experience (those who handle better commercial brands like Dior, YSL, Givenchy have already moved past the Diesel stage). It’s for summer and the beach due to the coconut water note that gives a bronzer impression. If used in heat, I recommend moderate application and open spaces. Moderate sillage, fading to skin-level after 12 hours, more for daytime and totally informal. Forbidden for ‘naturalists’.

  Unlike others, I find it pleasant, summery, and youthful. Although it’s sweet, the coconut makes it wearable in summer; it evokes beach, sun, and sea. I don’t quite understand the rejection of synthetics: what percentage of current perfumes aren’t synthetic? Let’s be grateful they are becoming more artificial due to IFRA.

  Unlike most reviews, I find Diesel’s OTBW quite pleasant, summery, and youthful. Although it’s sweet, its coconut note makes it wearable in summer; it evokes the beach, sun, and sea, transporting you there. I don’t get why people criticize how synthetic it feels… what percentage of current fragrances aren’t synthetic? Let’s be grateful perfumes are becoming more artificial due to IFRA regulations.

  Since I fully immersed myself in the world of fragrances, I’ve encountered many scents, but I always had a hunch to find one with a prominent coconut note. That is Only The Brave Wild: it smells like amazing sunscreen, summer, and the beach. It’s exquisite.

  We all have different tastes, but I don’t understand why most people don’t like it. I do; it’s fun, sexy, and versatile, though better in warm climates. It smells like quality coconut; I thought it might smell like supermarket fabric softener, but it’s worlds away. It surprised me, and my circle likes it. I don’t see it for the office, but perfect for outings, home, informal gatherings, or travel. Great scent and longevity, good projection (I wish it were a bit stronger). I recommend it if you’re cheerful and don’t live in a world of formalities. Ideal for summer, sun, pool, and beach.

I do, and quite a bit: it’s fun (without being exclusively youthful), sexy, and versatile, though it suits warm climates better. It smells like quality coconut. When I bought it blind, I thought it might smell like a supermarket fabric freshener, but nothing could be further from the truth; I was surprised, and my circle likes it. It depends on the setting: I don’t see it for the office, but it’s perfect for nights out, home, informal gatherings, or travel. Very good aroma, with decent longevity and projection (I wish it projected a bit more; I have other Diesels that project better). I recommend it if you’re cheerful and don’t live in a world of formalities. If you like summer, sun, pools, or the beach, this is your perfume.

  I received it almost as a gift in an exchange. OTB Wild is a despised scent; even I was on the hater side and gifted it to a friend. At a recent party, it surprised me: after the wild citrus opening, there’s a creamy, sweet coconut mixed with nutmeg, tonka, and vetiver. The result is warm with fresh touches and an appealing twist. Diesel wants its users to be attractive; it works well in cold or temperate weather, and with light application in heat. Average performance. I think it achieves its goals decently for its segment. My friend gifted me 10ml of this madness: a rare cover that reads beautifully. I recommend trying it seriously.

  I received OTB Wild extra as part of a swap, almost like a gift. It’s a despised fragrance with more negative than positive reviews; a couple of days ago, I was on the ‘hater’ side, which is why I gifted it to a friend who’s new to fragrances. We met at a party, and I was blown away when I smelled it. Once it fully dried, after that initial wild, dirty citrus burst, there’s a creamy, sweet coconut blended (and dirty) with nutmeg, tonka, and vetiver. That mix of vetiver and coconut gives Wild its character. It smells warm with fresh touches and an attractive twist; Diesel wants their users to be attractive. I’ve found it effective in both cold and cool weather, and it works perfectly in heat with little application. Its performance is average. I think it achieves its goals decently for its segment. My friend gifted me 10ml of this crazy thing whose ‘sin’ is having a ‘weird’ opening, like an unattractive book cover that turns out to be a masterpiece when you read it. I recommend testing it, but do a serious test if possible.

  I decided to buy it knowing I already own Only the Brave. I’m fascinated by the scent: you can smell the incredible coconut, a lemony citrus note, and then the lavender. It’s quite long-lasting, holding up for about 6-8 hours. Everyone has their tastes, but for me, it’s amazing and projects well. I really like it, but I recommend not buying blind and smelling it first.

I’ve received many compliments from women. It has good longevity and sillage. I recommend it without hesitation: 9/10. Cheers.

  Spring, summer, and even autumnal without the cold. It doesn’t last too long for me, but I enjoyed it and finished the bottle. The worst part is the packaging: I think the bottle looks terrible, it doesn’t reflect the scent, and feels tacky. Still, the smell makes it worth it.
