This has probably been one of the biggest disappointments I’ve had lately 😭. I really wanted to like it, not only because of the campaign image, but because the bottle seems gorgeous and super original to me. Unfortunately, for me, that’s practically where its appeal ends. On paper, I had a hard time identifying the notes, although the drydown left a slight sweet and warm scent that, in principle, tends to fit my tastes pretty well and that would have seemed perfect for everyday wear. However, on my skin, the experience was completely different. To begin with, the opening is hard for me to describe, but I perceive a pretty chemical undertone that puts me off, along with a very ripe banana smell. Curiously, I can’t pick up the more acidic pear and bergamot notes I was expecting. In the drydown, the sweet and warm notes do come out a bit more, but that chemical undertone is still there and ends up dominating the composition. In fact, there are moments when it slightly reminds me of the smell of some cleaning products, which is obviously not what I’m looking for in a perfume. I feel bad about it because I really wanted it to work on me, but on my skin it just doesn’t at all. One more proof that, in my case, the blotter can be very misleading and that there are perfumes that absolutely need a skin test before buying them💔
I tried it because of the bottle, which is very weird for my taste, but that’s exactly why it stands out. It has a fresh and sweet opening (even though it’s not a fresh perfume in itself); the banana is very noticeable and manages to balance with the rest of the notes. It’s sweet without being cloying and, watch out, potent! You don’t need to apply much to notice it. Original and different.
I’d buy it for the bottle; the smell is very similar to that of Gucci or Atheeri by Lattafa.

It’s a good-looking, likeable perfume that will make you smell delicious: a sweet but fresh vanilla that wraps around you without getting cloying, and it performs very well for how light it feels! It’s very well balanced with the orchid and a somewhat dark, liqueur-like base.
