It’s a mango, but with something more; that is, for example, in Vulcan Feu the protagonist is the mango. In this fragrance there are several protagonists, making the mango not what predominates. Honestly, it’s a good perfume if you like perfumes that have mango.
I think Zara has been lying about the notes since previous collections, trying to keep designer houses from coming down on it. It released a couple of EDTs that were identical to ‘Y’ by YSL and SWY by Emporio Armani, with listed ingredients that had nothing to do with the smell. Well, the same happens with this one. It smells incredibly similar to ‘Guilty’ by Gucci (EDP version) without the chili, the anise, or the salt. It’s the same DNA, but a different vibe (it’s not as loud or striking, and I see it more for daytime/an early evening out, but it’s the same damn smell). Maybe it’s a note that the two have in common and that my brain picks up on, but otherwise, a clear dupe for 60 euros less. Longevity and projection… pretty awful, to be honest. It’s one of those Zara ones that you’ll absolutely need to reapply after going out, unless you’re out for less than 3-4 hours. On me it lasted a little over an hour on skin before it started shrinking to skin-scent level as soon as that time passed. The sillage is also pretty “dirty”. It’s not at all elegant or clear (like AXE deodorant). I don’t know, it’s €22.95… Are there better things? In the men’s section, few, honestly, but it’s not top-tier or anything that’ll blow your mind. I recommend taking a look.
