Sweet and uncomplicated. The pretty girl who always wants to go out and have fun, even though she follows in her older sister’s footsteps, who is more laid-back. It’s perfect for a sunny day of leisure with friends. You won’t stand out above the rest.
My brother gave this to my mother. The bottle is gorgeous and the scent is softer than the Perfume version, with the same red fruit mixed with citrus and flowers. It’s a bit more citrusy than the Perfume, which softens it. It has a nice trail and lasts well on clothes and skin; even the room smells perfumed.
I like it much more than its older sister, Mon Paris Perfume. That one overwhelmed me and smelled strongly synthetic. The EDT doesn’t excite me either—it’s fine, it’s fruity/floral, more of the same… but it seems more bearable than the Perfume version. It’s more relaxed and less loud (within the Mon Paris line). If I had to choose one, I’d stick with this; I’d use it if someone gifted it to me, but I wouldn’t buy it myself; it seems excessive for what it offers.
I love it; it’s one of my favorites. I adore fragrances with patchouli, it has good longevity and projection on the skin, and I get lots of compliments!
Mon Paris EDT by YSL, tested alongside the EDP. On my skin, the EDP is fruitier and this EDT is more musky, but I can’t find anything to highlight. Personally, I prefer the EDT over the EDP. It’s light and doesn’t overpower. Being so subtle, it works for any season, but I think it would look great in autumn.
I really wanted to try this, but it’s nothing like the fruity scent I expected. The raspberry is barely noticeable; you have to dig for it. There’s a citrus note from the bergamot and a pink pepper with jasmine that gives me a headache. It doesn’t evolve at all, smelling more like perfumes by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada or Adolfo Domínguez, and it’s not worth the price. I was looking for something elegant and tender, but this is loud and childish. At first I doubted the reviews, but now I agree with them.
I was really eager to try it… what a pity it’s not fruity at all. I wanted the raspberry to be the star, but I barely smell it, not even for that. It has a citrusy touch from the bergamot and a spicy kick from the pink pepper; the jasmine gives me a headache just from smelling it. It doesn’t have much development; it smells like something from Agatha Ruiz de la Prada or Adolfo Domínguez. The quality doesn’t match the high price. I was looking for something fruity, elegant, feminine, youthful, and sweet, but I found a loud, childish, and not-so-sophisticated scent. At first, I doubted the negative reviews, but now I agree with them.
It’s a soft, musky floral-fruity scent. At first, you get the peony and that acidic touch of bergamot with a hint of pink pepper heat. As it dries down, the raspberry comes forward, smelling very musky. The patchouli, which I usually don’t like, is well-blended here and not bitter. It’s pleasant, not overpowering, feminine, and versatile. Projects for about 1.5 hours and lasts 5 hours on skin—not bad for an EDT. I like it; it feels high quality and works for any season, though it’s not innovative and I don’t think the price is justified. A good everyday perfume.
