Descripción

Fame in Love by Rabanne is a fruity-floral-gourmand fragrance for women. This creation, launched in 2025, marks the olfactory debut of the house. The composition was signed by Dora Baghriche, Fabrice Pellegrin, and Clement Gavarry. In its opening, the fragrance unfolds top notes of strawberry, green mandarin, and basil. The heart reveals a harmony of jasmine, incense, and iris root, while the base settles on an absolute of vanilla, mineral notes, and patchouli.

  • I did like it. Smells like sweet strawberries over a delicious dessert. At times it reminded me of a first-aid kit, maybe due to something medicinal or from mixing scents while testing. It has a fruity opening and something sweet. I liked this one and Phanton in Red. Thinking of adding it to my collection.

  • I liked it. Smells like sweet strawberries over a rich dessert. Sometimes it sounds medicinal, maybe due to associations or the blend of scents when testing. It has a fruity opening with a bit of sweetness. I loved this one and Phantom in Red, thinking of adding them to my collection.

  • The worst Fame👎🏿. A scent that gets tiring in 2 minutes. Citric strawberry and vanilla perfume, poorly balanced. It represents everything I despise in perfumery. I hate it. Chilly, metallic, flat, zero sophistication, bomb. Lasts less than a candy at the school gate.

Tried it by accident… I don’t want it anymore. It’s horrible. Smells like synthetic syrup.

  • I saw it at a perfumery and tried it. Smells good, sweet strawberry, then the base is a bit powdery and synthetic. It’s okay, but nothing special. It reminds me a bit of Ariana Grande’s Cloud Pink.

  • The worst fragrance ever 👎🏿. A scent that gets tiring after just 2 minutes. A strawberry and citrus-vanilla blend that is poorly balanced. It embodies everything I despise in perfumery. I hate it. It’s chilly, metallic, flat, zero sophistication, and loud. Unfortunately, or perhaps miraculously, it doesn’t last longer than a piece of candy left on a school playground door.

  • It smells like syrup mixed with car air freshener, genuinely unpleasant. It doesn’t feel like high quality anymore. It’s actually embarrassing that they just release new products just to sell them.

  • I just tried it and I love it 😍. It’s joining my collection. It smells to me like the strawberry tartlets I used to eat as a child; that jam was incredible, and it smells just like that: a delicious strawberry jam 🥴. I’m eager to keep testing it, but I think I’ll end up buying it.

  • Syrupy mess mixed with car air freshener, really unpleasant. Doesn’t feel like good quality. It’s embarrassing they only launch new stuff to sell.

  • I really like this perfume. It’s sweet without seeming childish, and it lasted a long time on me. I sprayed it in the morning, showered, and by night in bed, I could still smell it. 10/10, finally found my perfume.

  • Smells great, but it’s true that it has a childish vibe. It’s not something someone who wants to project seriousness would wear. Personally, I don’t care about that, so I’d wear it because it smells incredibly good. I’m not buying it because it doesn’t last or project much, but I have nothing to say about the actual scent.

  • Rorrovasquez

Good opening, fruity, almost citrusy. Good dry-down, becoming vanilla and creamy. However, the heart phase is very unpleasant to me; from 20 minutes to 2 or 3 hours, it feels generic, like a cheap fantasy cologne; an extremely synthetic strawberry/strawberry note stands out. Tested on my girlfriend’s skin.

Good projection, fruity and almost citrusy. The drydown is nice, becoming vanilla and creamy. But the heart disappointed me: from 20 minutes to 3 hours, it smells generic, like a cheap fantasy cologne with an extremely synthetic strawberry. I tested it on my girlfriend.

Another Fame that is a huge MEH. Smells like kids’ strawberry shampoo. Sweet strawberries, synthetic, no charm. Next.

  • Merry White

I’m in love with this fragrance; it brings me joy, energy, and light. A delicate strawberry, a pleasant breeze under the sun. I can see myself wearing it all spring 😍

  • Just tried it and I love it 😍. It’s going into my collection. It smells exactly like the strawberry tartlets I used to eat as a kid; that jam was incredible, and it smells just like that: an amazing strawberry jam 🥴. I’m eager to keep testing it, though I think it might fade.

  • Just tried it out for an afternoon walk. I’m looking for cherry perfumes for nighting out. I realized that during the luteal phase of my cycle, cherry scents are absolutely fantastic with incredible projection. Paired with this on one arm and Lancôme La Vie Est Belle L’Elixir on the other, the opening is very sweet, potent, and intense. I noticed a blend of red strawberry and pleasant tart apple, similar to Nina Ricci but without that powdery note. Later, it mutates into patchouli and starts smelling like a men’s fragrance. It’s not the sexy scent I was expecting. I didn’t like it at all. On the other hand, the one on my other arm is very similar, but it does have a feminine finish.

  • Ivanna Nur Santis Riquelm

I loved it at first, but it’s just a cheap strawberry cologne. It reminds me of the Gelatti Red Berry body splash from my childhood—rich, but very childish. In my opinion, it’s only for teenagers and young adults (17-25 years old).

  • If you have Burberry Her, this isn’t worth it; it’s the same or similar and lasts less. Nothing more to say. I already own Burberry Her so I won’t buy this. I was excited because I loved the original Fame so much, but after using it for so long, I got tired of it. This one is different but very similar to Burberry Her.

  • It smells great, but it is true that it has a childish vibe. Not for someone looking to project seriousness. I don’t mind, so I’d wear it because it smells incredible. I won’t buy it because it doesn’t last or project much, but I have nothing to say about the scent itself.

  • The opening is like a body splash, then it evolves into a sophisticated and lovely aroma. It seems similar to Burberry Her, but here the red fruits are more prominent; Burberry has a heavier base, like the BCR540 which I don’t like. It keeps the DNA of the classic Fame but cleaner. I love it 🥰, probably my next purchase.

  • A childish perfume. Strawberries usually cause disasters in luxury perfumery because the subconscious associates them with kids. Here, even though they try to make it sexy, they fail, and it projects that all the time. While vanilla and patchouli are there, the strawberry swallows them whole. It’s a hit for girls up to 17, but a woman wearing it will smell out of touch.

  • MelinaCereza

Totally different from Burberry. It’s a realistic strawberry with a watery, fresh twist, maybe from the basil, but without any grassy scent. The incense doesn’t bother because it’s barely noticeable. It’s like a little strawberry jam, gorgeous for sweet lovers, though it feels more like a scent for teenagers. I loved this realistic strawberry proposal—so few have that note! Lasts about 5-6 hours, very nice to wear. Hope this helps!

The Burberry version has a heavier base, like BCR540 (which I don’t like). It keeps the classic Fame DNA but cleaner. I love it 🥰 probably my next purchase.
