It’s the weakest in projection I’ve tried from this house, though it lasts okay. It stays very close to the skin; the scent is pleasant, slightly woody and creamy, but too timid for my tastes despite a promising start that dies quickly. The price isn’t cheap for something that whispers. Maybe it was designed to be an educated aroma, but I’m not a fan of silent proposals, so me and this Amber Musk will take different paths.
Amber Musk is a perfume that, the moment you apply it, fades quickly to stay right on the skin, but its longevity is incredible. It smells like musk, talcum powder, clean, with a warm touch so soft it feels like smelling someone else’s skin. An almost sexual scent. I love it! It’s super intimate; I think it was made with that idea in mind. That’s all there is to it. P.S.: To me, it sounds more masculine.
Amber Musk by Montale is a curious jewel: what the hell is this scent? I didn’t expect anything like this from the brand. It’s that kind of molecular scent that fades instantly and clings to the skin. Does it last short? False. While it projects nothing, it’s noticeable for hours, easily over 8 without issues. It smells exactly as described: amber and musk, nothing more. It’s ideal for those who hate ‘beast mode’ fragrances or for layering. Worth it if you’re looking for something subtle and refined.
