  • It’s a clean, fresh, and familiar scent that reminds me of the final sprays of men’s aerosol deodorants: where you don’t smell the product, just cleanliness. I wore it alone and liked it; a different, minimalist experience. 02 is a success for layering. I tried it with Derby Club House Blanche and it notably improved its performance without changing the aroma. I got a bit experimental and mixed it with Cocktail from Fragrance World; although I’m not a fan of the Angel Share DNA, the result was interesting: fresher and more masculine, until I dare to use it. I loved how the notes interact with ambroxan. I think something special was born here 😎

  • It smells fresh with a citrusy touch at first that fades in three minutes, leaving a clean, aromatic, and metallic air. It’s noticeable and doesn’t last long; I imagine it’s a base meant for layering.

  • I bought it hoping for a good dupe of Molecule 02 to save a few bucks, since it’s one of my favorite perfumes, but it doesn’t resemble it at all. This smells totally masculine. Disappointed 🙁

  • I grabbed the full Monocline collection: 01, 02, and 05. Here’s the deal with 02: the whole line plays with scents that aren’t typical for perfumery, like ‘new book smell.’ It doesn’t smell like wood or ink, but rather that mix of plastics and chemicals from industrial manufacturing. It’s a synthetic scent that’s catchy and attention-grabbing, but not natural. It has a clean, light, dusty, unisex vibe with facets similar to M.B.’s Starwalker or J.H.A.G.’s Not A Perfume. Unlike 01, this scent is easy to detect. Too bad its strength and projection are weak; if you want to get the most out of it, go for layering. Start with a base perfume, then layer 02 or 01 on top. You might find some interesting nuances. Would I recommend it? Not really. It’s not essential, not necessary, and doesn’t make a difference. I’d only buy it out of curiosity. Better to grab a sample or decant first. After three minutes, you have to press your nose against your skin to feel it. However, I think it’s the best of the three flankers. P.S. I already wrote reviews for each one individually.
