Mandadori is a really interesting fragrance, mainly because it’s so different. It’s not a pretty scent per se, but it’s addictive. It reminds me of YSL’s Kouros, with a very marked animal character. Here, the strong floral and aldehydic notes give it that touch. It has its own personality, bringing it close to Roja Dove’s Diaghilev, with that animal and very soapy point. I see it as a sexy, nocturnal perfume, better suited for cold climates. I tried it during the day and think it loses some of its charm. The performance is good with high longevity, but moderate projection. The quality is very high; you can tell it’s a top-tier perfume from the very first moment.
