Top olfactory experience, true to the house style. It’s not just a perfume; it’s a story. It perfectly evokes what the bottle says: Cigar Rum. It has great longevity and evolves beautifully, but what sticks with me is that star essence: potent tobacco, a sweet rum base, woods, and that cozy night-in-with-a-coat warmth. It transports me back to a late night playing poker with friends, smoking and drinking. Still, it feels warm and controlled, never overwhelming. I love it. There are more details, but that imagery is the key. Pure enjoyment for cold days; not very versatile, but so glad I tried it.

Strangers Parfumerie has some very original scents, though this one is almost the exception. Honestly, it reminded me a lot of Marley’s Herod: sweet, delicious tobacco with nutty notes, resinous touches, and liquor-like elements. It has a bitter edge that isn’t fresh, but it lightens the blend despite its opulence. Brutal quality, incredible longevity, and in my opinion, one of the brand’s best. If I didn’t own Herod, I’d buy this without hesitation, but with both, I’d feel redundant. Rating: 9/10
