  1. Approaching Prin Lomros fragrances always gives me goosebumps and raises the bar. Mriga means deer in Sanskrit, and here the perfumer tries to recreate that authentic deer musk along with scents from its natural habitat—a difficult feat. After trying it for the first time, you realize how well the deer musk accord turned out, even though it’s entirely synthetic. That note takes center stage, preceded by green, wild notes that, in my case, remind me of conifers. The musk scent, always present, becomes more dominant as it dries, letting us enjoy all its nuances: sweet, slightly powdery, with hints of fur, clean, and with an incredible warmth that makes it addictive and intriguing, inviting you to sniff and sniff again. If I had to find a flaw, it would be the lime note; to my nose, combined with the musks, it can sometimes give off a very, very faint detergent-like or similar product vibe. It has an extremely long-lasting performance and a nice sillage without being overwhelming, despite being a formula with dense ingredients. The scent has a classic touch by focusing on musk, so lovers of this note will find it extraordinary. It’s not my favorite type of aroma, but it’s definitely a great perfume and worth trying for its execution and success in recreating something as complex and multifaceted as deer musk. Cheers!

  2. Approaching fragrances from Prin Lomros always feels exciting and builds anticipation. Mriga means deer in Sanskrit, and here the perfumer attempts to recreate real deer musk alongside scents from its habitat—a difficult task. After the first sniff, you realize how well the deer musk accord is achieved, even if it’s synthetic. It will be the star note, opening with sharp green notes that remind me of conifers. The musk scent, always present, becomes more prominent as it dries, allowing us to enjoy its nuances: sweet, slightly powdery, with a clean, hair-like quality and an extraordinary warmth that makes it addictive and intriguing, inviting you to keep smelling it. If I had to find a flaw, it’s the lime accord; to my nose, combined with the musks, it sometimes gives off a faint detergent-like aroma. It has very high longevity and good sillage without being too overwhelming, despite being a formula with dense ingredients. It might have a classic touch due to its focus on musk, so lovers of this note will adore it. It’s not my usual style, but without a doubt it’s a great perfume and worth trying for its execution and success in recreating such a complex scent as deer musk. Cheers.
