Descripción

Calvin Klein Man is a spicy woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2007, this olfactory composition was created by Ann Gottlieb. The top notes unfold violet leaves, mandarin, rosemary, and bergamot; the heart reveals a harmony of laurel leaf, nutmeg, incense, and mint; while the base notes settle on cypress, sandalwood, guaiac wood, musk, and amber.

The scent and longevity are great. The citrus note is excellent, the woods are very good, and the violet and mint notes are delicious. Highly recommended for young men and up.

Exquisite, though I’d try it on my skin again. I have a hunch its only flaw is longevity. Calvin Klein definitely thinks with my head and smells with my nose.

  • I noticed violets in the fragrance and didn’t like it. After checking the notes a few days later, I confirmed they were there, which is why it just didn’t work for me.

  • I detected a violet scent, which I don’t like. Later, checking the notes, I confirmed there is indeed violet, which is why I didn’t like it.

  • It was the first fragrance I ever tried, just out of curiosity, and it made me fall in love with the world of perfumes. Even though I couldn’t buy it, I still get that feeling.

  • At first, it’s super alcoholic, then it settles quickly and becomes enjoyable: soft and not intrusive, but its projection requires reapplication. It’s not a masterpiece, but it doesn’t offend. It’s slightly sweet, pleasant, elegant, and ethereal, though it doesn’t stand out especially. It’s comfortable to wear. Its biggest problem is that it only smells on the skin, and you have to use half a bottle to get any scent.

  • At first, the alcohol is noticeable but it’s fleeting. Then the opening is violets, laurel, and incense, with a touch of tangerine and overlaid mint—a green blend with woods. A classy, elegant masculine scent.

  • At first, you notice the alcohol, but it’s fleeting. Then, in the opening, violets, laurel, and incense take over. You catch a hint of mandarin and a subtle mint; it’s a green blend with woods. A classy, elegant masculine scent.

  • 2017 Batch: Starts with alcohol, then a sweet, slightly citrusy floral, followed by nutmeg (not as invasive as Quorum Silver). Although not listed on the card, there’s a hint of cinnamon, white incense (the stone kind, not stick), and soap. Smells clean and elegant. Masculine and youthful (20-45 years old); it doesn’t work for anyone beyond that age. Versatile for mid-season, leaning toward cold weather (not for summer). Perfect for a first impression and a farewell.

  • Calvin Klein Man: A fragrance with very low performance; it falls short in everything: scent, performance, charm, originality, and even presentation. As a fragrance called ‘Man,’ it should be undeniably masculine, full of testosterone, strong, virile, and sexy. Instead, it’s shy, introverted, and worst of all, completely lacking magic. To my taste, it’s one of the worst I’ve tried from this brand; it sins by being a forgettable, synthetic scent with very discreet performance. Fragrances can be good or bad, but not lukewarm; this is exactly that—neither good nor bad, totally forgettable and irrelevant. It doesn’t smell bad, it’s not terrible, but it’s a boring scent without personality. The best part is its dry-down, which painfully sits right on the skin. As a brand like Calvin Klein, they’re obligated to leave a mark, and this one didn’t. I can’t find even a millimeter of similarity to Dior Fahrenheit. Scent: 7.0 Projection: 5.0 Longevity: 6.0 Not recommended.

I own it and it smells good, but it just doesn’t convince me; it’s not my style. I see it as something for people 30 and up—not that it’s not youthful, but the scent doesn’t fill me up. Still, I wear it occasionally, but it’s one of the last ones I reach for. I don’t want to say it’s bad because it is, but it just doesn’t suit me. In my opinion, the price is excessive; they’re charging three hundred percent too much. That said, I won’t buy it again. I prefer Calvin Klein Be, which I absolutely love, even though its intensity and longevity are short-lived; it fits my style better.

I own it and it smells nice, but it just doesn’t quite convince me; it’s not my style. I see it for people 30 and up—not that it’s not youthful, but the vibe isn’t mature, it just doesn’t fill me up. Still, I use it occasionally, but it’s one of the last ones I wear. Just to be clear, it’s not bad, it’s actually good, but it just doesn’t work for me. On the other hand, in my opinion, the price is excessive; it’s worth three hundred towns. That said, I won’t buy it again; I prefer Calvin Klein Be, which I love the way it smells. Even though its intensity and longevity are short, it fits my style much better.

  • I tried to get used to it but couldn’t. It smells like herbs and just doesn’t work for me; even if it’s cheap, it’s not worth it.

  • I tried to get used to the scent, but I couldn’t. It smells like herbs, which I just don’t like, and if it’s a cheap perfume, it’s definitely not worth it.

  • Herbal and camphor notes with a nutty touch that gives it a rich flavor, though it’s not my favorite and I only wear it at home. It shares the same pros and cons as most CK fragrances. Scent: 7/10 Projection: 5/10 Longevity: 6/10 Quality: 7/10 Value: 9/10

  • It smells herbal and camphorated with a prominent nut note that makes it rich. However, it’s not one of my favorites and I don’t wear it unless I’m at home. It shares the strengths and weaknesses of the rest of the CK line. Scent 7/10, Projection 5/10, Longevity 6/10, Quality 7/10, Price 9/10.
