Descripción

Lucrethia by V Canto is an oriental floral fragrance from the olfactory family, created for men and women. Launched in 2016, this composition features the olfactory signature of Paolo Terenzi. The top notes unfold a blend of pear, linden flower, pink pepper, petit grain, and laurel. The heart reveals a bouquet of coffee, jasmine, cocoa, amber, and cloves, while the base notes settle with vanilla, honeysuckle, benzoin, patchouli, and cedar.

This is my first V Canto, and I bought it blind after reading reviews and notes. I’m super happy with how it evolves on me: at first, I notice fresh, delicious white flowers, especially jasmine, honeysuckle, and petit grain, over an amber and slightly resinous base. I don’t detect the pear, coffee, or cocoa, and the vanilla barely shows up. It doesn’t remind me of Black Opium or Hundred Silent Ways; it’s a very cheerful white floral, perfect for warm weather and daytime wear. It’s clearly feminine with beautiful packaging. The trail and projection are excellent, and the longevity is acceptable, lasting between 7 and 9 hours. Totally recommended for lovers of fresh, original florals.

  • Lucrethia is that jeans-and-oversized-sweater girl who goes unnoticed but has a spark. She’s fun, sweet-toothed, and makes you want to be around her all the time. Her opening is cheerful thanks to pink pepper and laurel. Although the notes sound like a recipe, it’s nothing like that; after a while, it smells like Black Opium: coffee, cocoa, and amber. What gives it strength is the clove and jasmine, keeping it from being a ‘book gourmand.’ The vanilla and benzoin make it cheeky and spicy, perfect for good company. It’s sophisticated without being over-the-top, ideal for evening. Would I buy a bottle? Not while I have Black Opium. Blind buy? Only if you like Black Opium-style fragrances. Scent 🏵🏵🏵 Longevity 🏵🏵🏵

I’ve been testing decants for weeks and today I randomly picked one. As soon as I sprayed it, I felt like I’d smelled something similar before. I spent hours trying to remember which one, and now I’m confirming it has a lot in common with Dior’s Jasmin des Anges from the Privée collection. I absolutely loved the scent.

I’ve been testing decants for weeks and today I randomly picked one. As soon as I sprayed it, I felt like I’d already smelled something similar; I spent hours trying to remember which one in my collection matched, and now I have it clear: for me, it smells quite like Jasmin des Anges from Dior’s Privée collection. I absolutely loved the scent.
