This work of art made me laugh out loud… Absolutely brutal, such a sweet green. Very, very herbal and woody, light yet bordering on bitter, and incredibly sexy. Extremely sensual and captivating, in my opinion. Overwhelming and insanely long-lasting. It keeps going and going… A citrusy absinthe blast at first, but very subtle and refined. That’s Mandragola by V: a hymn to my nose, a sweet poison that completely traps you when you smell it. A very complex fragrance that evolves throughout the day. Definitely a winner. It never goes unnoticed. It will fill your room when you wear it, but in a way that’s not invasive at all; quite the opposite. Perfect for autumn and winter, though it will surely work on the coolest summer nights. The bergamot and citrus notes come out strong but elegant, while the roses, jasmine, and oud (very soft) give this addictive, almost creamy blend a real body thanks to the sandalwood and saffron. The vetiver also has a lot to say here, present throughout with amber, vanilla, and that little touch of sandalwood… ahhh… A delight. Very surprised by this aroma with its esoteric undertones. The longevity, projection, and sillage are out of this world. Magnificent.
