First review and wow! What a beast! It’s dynamic, enveloping, and leaves a trail for hours. It smells sweet, beautiful, fresh, and clean; the roses work without overpowering. I had my heart set on the LVEB version, but this presentation is more than fabulous, a total gem.

  • It deserved the name Idole Extrait. It smells almost the same, that natural rose with its spicy pepper kick, but here it’s more concentrated and has a gourmand base, like sugar or whipped cream, which sweetens it a bit and makes it more addictive. What a shame it’s a limited edition in 30ml.

I own several flankers of La Vie Belle, and they all have their own style, but this one is special: a blend of rose with patchouli and high-quality sweet notes. It lasts quite a while; it held up well for me over two uses, although I save it for wearing at home. I don’t know how others perceive it, but it doesn’t seem overwhelming to me. I’m so glad the iris is so low-key and doesn’t smell like talcum powder!

Exquisite! It has the DNA of the classic LVEB, but here the rose, iris, and patchouli shine so much. It’s very concentrated with an oily texture. The opening is powerful with herbal and peppery notes, but soon they fade, leaving only those main notes. It has excellent persistence, projection, and trail. What a pity it’s a limited edition… though if you own the classic, this one isn’t necessary.

  • It’s the classic that always works: I’ve received compliments from both men and women about its alleged pheromones. It’s sweet without being cloying, featuring roses, vanilla, amber, musk, and that touch of elegant yet youthful femininity. I love it because it won’t go out of style.
