  • Honestly, I’m disappointed. I expected to use it in different climates, but it hasn’t changed at all. I’m a fan of Junoon and Rose, both powdery and potent; I didn’t choose this one for fear of its potency, imagining “Noir” would be stronger. Big mistake: it’s a cheerful, pretty, and very feminine fragrance. The opening is floral with citrus and stays close to the skin with an almost imperceptible sillage. After an hour, it’s nearly invisible; to feel it, you have to bring your nose close, and it lasts like that for 3 or 4 hours. The scent is pleasant, but the performance leaves a lot to be desired, especially with a “Noir” presentation. It’s soft, floral, and musky; you can very faintly detect the cinnamon, vanilla, and sandalwood, while the rest of the notes are absent. It seems to be the initial version before reaching the potent aromas of its siblings. For those who love soft scents, it’s a beautiful choice, but if you enjoy strong fragrances with wide sillage, it’s not ideal. I tested it on my son and the result was the same, although he loved it.

  • Junoon Noir: I expected something more nocturnal given the name, but I bought it blind and loved it. It’s gourmand, creamy, sweet, and fluffy, like fruit cookies with lots of vanilla. It’s not powdery or woody as some say; it opens sweet and that’s what you feel most. Excellent projection for 5 hours on skin, then dries down to floral with only a very slight powdery touch remaining. It lasts more than 8 hours, up to 10 if you’re generous. Of the three Junoon scents, this is the only sweet one; the other two smell like Dove soap. With winter here, it’s ideal for the cold. Sweet but not cloying, perfect for collecting if you like vanilla. Highly recommended 10/10.

What a beautiful perfume! The lily root, violet, and vanilla are very noticeable. It has good projection and longevity, ideal for cold weather.

Bought it blind and it smells like milk with violet and citrus notes, but also talcum powder. It’s soft and pleasant, though the longevity is zero; my friend didn’t even notice it after 15 minutes. Very disappointing if you’re expecting more.

I just bought it blind. It’s a well-milky lotion; you can smell the violet and citrus, but it’s also powdery. It’s soft and pleasant, though the longevity is non-existent; my friend couldn’t even smell it 15 minutes after I applied it. Very disappointing for my expectations.

I didn’t like it. It feels like a “baby powder” aerosol deodorant with a metallic aftertaste that doesn’t make me feel comfortable. I tried using it but washed it off quickly, so I can’t evaluate its performance.

I didn’t like it. It smells like baby powder aerosol deodorant, with a metallic hint that doesn’t make me feel comfortable. I tried it, but washed it off quickly, so I can’t evaluate its longevity.

  • I’ve never tried one with kumquat before, and it’s very noticeable. At first, I liked it but wasn’t a huge fan; now I love that facet that fades later, leaving a powdery vanilla with sandalwood and fruits in the dry down—exquisite and feminine without being invasive. Longevity is good, though the projection isn’t brutal. In the dry down, it reminds me of Hundred Silent Ways by Nishane.

  • This is the only one that smells like kumquat, and it’s very evident. I wasn’t convinced at first, but now I love how it dries down: powdered vanilla with sandalwood and fruits, exquisite and feminine without being overpowering. It lasts quite a while, though the projection isn’t intense. In dry down, it reminds me of Hundred Silent Ways by Nishane.

  • I haven’t tried Dama Bianca, but this smells almost identical to Etoile d’une Nuit by Anik Goutal. Same powdery, high-end makeup scent, but for a third of the price. The trail is pathetic and it doesn’t last more than 4-5 hours; you have to sniff it right up against the skin. In Spain, it costs between 45 and 70 euros. Watch out.

  • Although I haven’t tried Dama Bianca, this smells almost identical to Etoile d’une Nuit by Anik Goutal: the same powdery, luxury makeup scent, but for a third of the price. Its sillage is pathetic and the longevity doesn’t exceed 4-5 hours; I have to be practically sniffing it against my skin. In Spain, you can find it for between 45 and 70 euros, watch out for that.

I bought it out of curiosity because it smells like Dama Bianca, a fragrance I’ve adored for years. I don’t like the bottle and usually have a bad experience with Arabic perfumes, but curiosity got the better of me. It’s a gorgeous but extremely soft perfume; with several sprays, it’s barely noticeable. It’s a soft vanilla, like meringue: lots of sugar but full of air, nothing heavy. The violets are ghostly, sweet, and powdery in the dry down. It doesn’t evolve much and is too soft, which would have been frustrating if it happened with the original that costs five times as much. However, it lasts all day, even on clothes. My only gripe: the atomizer is terrible; it squirts the liquid in a nasty stream. It’s “fluffy” vanilla with violet, ideal for all year round, though maybe only people who are right next to you will catch it.

  • Lorenapicazo

Right after applying it, it smells exactly like Flower by Kenzo: an overly powdery scent that didn’t convince me and was a letdown. Over time, it has evolved slightly, gaining a more cosmetic and elegant touch, less dusty and softer. It’s pretty, delicate, and “fluffy,” but it’s not my style or what I expected, so I doubt I’ll buy it. I’ll keep testing it to see how it evolves and will update my review.

I bought it because people say it smells like Dama Bianca, which I’ve been wanting for a year. I don’t like the bottle and I haven’t had great experiences with Arabic perfumes, but curiosity got the better of me. It’s pretty, but very soft; even with several sprays, it’s barely noticeable. It’s a soft vanilla, like meringue with lots of sugar and air, nothing heavy. The violets are crisp yet ethereal, sweet and dusty like heart notes. It doesn’t evolve much and is too soft; I’d be worried if it performed the same way as the original, which is five times more expensive. It does last all day stuck to the skin and even on clothes. The downside is the atomizer, which squirts liquid like a stream of urine instead of spraying. It’s horrible. Fluffy vanilla with a hint of violet, perfect for all seasons, but if someone else can smell it, it’s great as a signature scent.
