At first, it’s very creamy and milky thanks to the almond, milk, and heliotrope. Then, as it dries down, it reminds me a lot of Amouage’s Material. In fact, they share notes like labdanum, benzoin, and patchouli. I think if you own one, even though their openings are different, you don’t need the other.
I just tried it on my skin, and from the start, the patchouli dominates—the signature of Thierry Mugler. In my humble opinion, it smells a lot like Angel Men.
As they say here, the patchouli is strong, and the labdanum gives it that Oriental touch. As it dries down, it becomes balsamic, creamy, and smoky. It feels very original to me, though I think it’s more for special occasions and cold weather.
