It’s a clean white floral. Even though it doesn’t say so, it smells of neroli; it reminds me of L’Interdit, though they’re not the same—the note is crafted similarly in both. I detect sweet honey and vanilla, plus a green hint I think is broom. Ilha do Mel claims to be inspired by Brazil, but as a Latina who’s been there several times, I don’t think it captures the real essence. I was expecting something fruity, marine, coconutty, like sunscreen… Brazil definitely doesn’t smell like floral with neroli. I wouldn’t buy it; Memo Paris has better options.
