  But wow #*”‘#_*:#&*:!!!!!! Incredible. Piano Santal falls short compared to this. It’s the best sandalwood perfume I’ve ever encountered. Mind-blowing!!! I’ll be updating this. For now, I’m settling for a decant. Edit: It shipped to my house within a week 😸.

  I don’t know why I don’t wear it more (well, yes, because I don’t want it to run out too fast 😑). It’s a nasal orgasm; just one flick on the back of my hand and it projects. Worth every euro. It’s a gem that transports you to a totally natural space, a forest (hence its name, I imagine). Another fragrance I don’t understand why it doesn’t have hype (unlike Zara’s Shamanilla, what a rip-off 😆). I know it’s not for every wallet, but it’s worth it. For me, it’s the perfect sandalwood. If you like fragrances like This Is Her by Z&V, this is mandatory to try at least once, even if they aren’t similar; this one takes it a step further.

  The opening hits me hard with that potent, almost synthetic, tropical blackberry. But once it dries, everything changes: the fruity acidity blends with sandalwood into a fresh, clean accord, framed by powdery notes that aren’t iris or musk, but wrap around you like you’re sitting on cushions. The result is hygienic and angelic, without any soapy smell. It’s that 2010s kind of cleanliness, devoid of patchouli or aromatic herbs, with a very timid touch toward amber but no heavy opulence. It doesn’t hook me because I just don’t like blackberry; its acidity is too rich and triggers a synesthesia that makes me drool as if I’d just bitten into a lemon. If you enjoy these kind of stimuli, here is a very elegant composition.
