This smells ‘GREEN’ and teleports you hyper-realistically under the fig tree, with a linear scent of its leaves. The longevity and sillage are top-notch, though I wouldn’t call it beastly. If you can grab a discount online, it’s worth it because it’s pricey. The dupes are expensive too. Don’t buy it blindly: it’s a high-stakes bet, you have to love that leafy scent. It resembles the older brother of Kenzo Man Intense or CoolWater, but more mature, dark, and intense.
‘GREEN’ is a hyper-realistic journey right beneath a fig tree; it smells like fresh green leaves, pure and linear. The fixations are beastly, though the price is high (look for discounts, as recreations are pricey too). Don’t buy blindly: it’s a maximum risk if you don’t like that leafy scent. It’s the older brother of Kenzo Man Intense or CoolWater, but more mature, dark, and intense.
I’m a fig fan, and this Figuier Noir has earned its spot among my favorites. The opening is the trickiest part: black pepper and clove dominate on my skin along with the fig leaf, pushing the cardamomo I can’t quite identify into the background. Then the leaf lingers with a soft milky tone, setting the stage for candied fruit; it’s that initial fig aroma but less green, more fleshy, and sweetening without becoming cloying. It’s woody, clean, and sober, but the fig always adds a spark to the scents with its nuances. It evolves without abruptness: the spicy green opening gives way to a slightly sweet fruity woody trail. A nice, masculine scent, though suitable for any occasion. Performance is moderate; it starts strong due to the spices, then mellows into something elegant and discreet. I expected more longevity, but it might just be my skin. I see it as an ideal signature scent: more formal than casual and mature than youthful, though it doesn’t quite reach the heights of Bois Mystique or Fougere Royal. It has that serious Houbigant cut, but the fig makes it more relaxed. If you like Philosykos or Bois Imperial, they’re different, but you might enjoy this. Better to try before buying since it’s not cheap. I loved this Houbigant option, which pairs really well with Perris Monte Carlo. If you can, give it a try; it could be that missing relaxed classic for you.
As a fig fanatic, this Figuier Noir deserves a spot among my favorites. The opening is intense: pepper and clove dominate on my skin, leaving cardamomo in the background. Then the green leaf turns milky and brief before moving to candied fruit: fleshy, sweet, but not cloying. It’s woody, clean, and sober; the fig always adds a spark. It evolves from spicy to sweet-fruity without abruptness. A nice, masculine scent, though suitable for any occasion. Performance is moderate: strong at the start due to spices, then elegant and discreet. I expected more longevity, but it might just be my skin. It’s an ideal signature scent: formal but with that relaxed fig touch, more so than Bois Mystique or Fougere Royal. If you like Philosykos or Bois Imperial, give this a try (even if they’re not the same), but do it before spending since it’s not cheap. Houbigant, with Perris Monte Carlo leading the way, is doing a great job.
Be careful, this isn’t a normal fig perfume. It’s something complex, far from a sweet natural fig. It’s more of a rock version that mixes fruits, dark herbs, and a salty touch with a lot of spicy character. For brave people who want to stand out and escape the ordinary.
Note: this isn’t the typical sweet fig. It’s a rocker version with a fig base, a mix of fruits, dark herbs, a salty touch, and spices. For the brave who want to stand out and avoid anything simple or too natural.
Too bad I don’t like it, because it has a fantastic ripe fruit patchouli with earthy geosmina notes—a combination I adore. Unfortunately, fig is on my list of ‘fruits that are more dangerous than a monkey with a flamethrower.’ It doesn’t stop, it doesn’t stop, it makes me nauseous. If you can handle fig, listen to this perfume.
To me, the fig isn’t the star here, and it doesn’t smell like the natural fruit I remember. What you do notice is black pepper throughout the entire journey and a sweet, velvety base. It’s very rich, long-lasting, and leaves a great trail, even though it’s not that typical fig scent.
For me, fig isn’t the main note, nor does it remind me of that fruit in nature. What really stands out is black pepper in all phases, with a sweet, velvety base. Very rich, good longevity and sillage, but it’s not a typical fig perfume.
This is a fig bomb, but not fruity or juicy—it’s a spiced fig leaf with lots of pepper and woody notes! It’s dry, astringent, and green, yet the fig is very present. I’m not saying anything bad; if you like these notes, you’ll love it because it’s powerful and long-lasting. Just not for me.
This is a fig bazooka right in your face! *Bum!* It’s a green fig, not a fruity, sweet, or juicy one. It smells more like a fig leaf, with lots of pepper, spice, and wood. It’s dry, astringent, and green, but the fig is very present. I’m not saying anything bad, right? If you like these notes, you’ll love it. It’s powerful, long-lasting, and has great projection. Simply put, it’s not for me.
Fantastic perfume. The fig note dominates from the fresh green opening to the sweeter dry down. It’s beautifully crafted, smelling green with floral and sweet touches. Nothing invasive, perfect for spring weather. It’s unique and elegant.
Very well-made perfume. The fig note dominates every stage, from the green opening to the sweeter dry down. It’s green with floral and sweet touches, nothing invasive. Perfect for spring or transitional weather. Different and elegant.
A grand proposal by Celine. A marvel of inspiration: mature green chords for a vigorous, firm, and elegant man. Perfect from cold to warm; its subtle sweetness creates an addictive spark that makes you feel part of a seductive group.
Celine’s idea is a total hit. A masterpiece of mature green scents, perfect for a man with firm character and elegance. Ideal for mornings that go from cold to warm; that subtle sweetness gives an addictive spark and makes you feel part of a seductive group.
