Houbigant

88 perfumes in this collection

Houbigant was born in Paris in 1775, when Jean-François Houbigant opened a shop on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The house worked for European courts and continued to develop perfumes during the 19th and 20th centuries. In 1882, Paul Parquet created Fougère Royale, a name that gave rise to the fougère family. In 1912, Robert Bienaimé presented Quelques Fleurs, the first multi-floral bouquet. In 2005, the Perris family took control of the Houbigant name for perfumery and cosmetics.

Today the collection is organized into lines such as Collection Quelques Fleurs, Collection Privée, Collection Royale, Les Matières, Collection Orientale and Les Ambres. The catalog also separates fragrances by families and offers bath products, candles and sets. The brand retains its historic names within a broader current offering.
