Houbigant's Orangers en Fleurs is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2012, the nose behind this composition is Jacques Fleury. The top notes unfold with orange blossom, Egyptian jasmine, and Turkish rose; the heart reveals neroli, ylang-ylang, and nutmeg; while the base notes settle with musk and cedar.

  • What a beautiful fragrance! I just tried it at Neiman Marcus, and it’s marvelous—very soft, elegant, and with great longevity. I love Houbigant fragrances; they are true masterpieces.

  • Orangers en Fleurs is a super voluptuous and exuberant floral bouquet, crafted with classic lines and the generosity only the old school knows how to offer. A gorgeous opening: fresh, citrusy-white floral where everything smells of orange blossom and neroli, with a crisp green touch, jasmine, and ylang-ylang keeping the floral tone, a hint of sweetness, and a light musky woody base to give it volume. It has a certain complexity in its evolution and recalls the golden ages of perfumery. The longevity is excellent, and the projection is great thanks to the high-quality ingredients. Rating: 8

  • Orangers en Fleurs by Houbigant surprised me; it’s like walking through spring in a field full of orange blossoms—rich and fresh. But it’s identical, like a drop of water, to Serge Lutens FDO; I say this because I own both, and when I wear them, you can’t tell which is which. Both are excellent fragrances. The difference is that Serge Lutens FDO doesn’t last more than two hours and costs $120, whereas Houbigant’s Orangers is much more affordable and lasts longer. Sometimes we buy perfumes that are twins of others. I’m not thrilled because I now have two identical scents.

  • What a beautiful orange blossom; classic, open, and luminous. Simple yet complex, full of details with a slow, rich oxidation. It leaves a trail that feels like ‘coming home,’ that familiar orange blossom note we’ve all known before. Houbigant’s formulas are beautifully woven, turning a cozy, known scent into something sophisticated and impeccable. One of the most successful interpretations of orange blossom in terms of loyalty and classicism. This flower doesn’t wilt easily.

  • A very correct, quality floral fragrance with no cheap edges. While it reminds me of Serge Lutens FDO, on my skin the three white flowers blend quite a bit, so it’s not a true soliflore despite its name. You can definitely smell the musk base, but it’s not annoying; the flowers are undoubtedly the stars. Interestingly, I smelled it on two different people from afar (I only sprayed once to test, indoors), and when I was close, I barely noticed the scent. However, yesterday, also indoors, I sprayed each wrist and smelled it for about 5 hours without much issue (before heading off to sleep). The retail price is steep, let alone the extrait, but it certainly has class, plus great packaging. Don’t expect many YouTube reviews from me.

  • NO WATCH. NO WI-FI. JUST SPRING AT 12:45 PM, when the world stopped, and the sun decided to stay. No traffic lights or hot plates, just open streets like books and a harbor waiting for me. I sat down, took off my shoes, and let the breeze write on my skin. Today I wore Orangers en Fleurs by Houbigant. No phone, no distractions, just letting myself be wrapped in its scent: the dawn of spring bottled as perfume, the pure orange blossom bursting fresh from the tree and floating, alive, in the sea breeze. A luminous, soft, and warm floral that blends with natural light as if it had always been there. Today I learned that true light doesn’t depend on switches. Sometimes it’s enough to close your eyes, feel the sun on your skin, the wind in your hair… and a perfume vibrating in the air. And even if I couldn’t tell you, my thoughts reached you, wrapped in a breath of orange blossom. 🍀 https://youtu.be/C4gCdGXKJVk?feature=shared ‘Even when everything goes dark, there are those who keep the light on.’]
