  Exquisite and hard-to-find fragrance that reached my neurons thanks to the 10ml decant A.C. gifted me; if you only lent it to me, you’re not getting it back 😂. It’s from Givenchy’s niche collection, L’ Atelier. It starts spicy, reminding me of Spicebomb by V&R, but then reveals a subtle amber sweetness with pepper, where a very refined rose stands out. At 15-20 minutes, the magic happens: a clean, delicious amber I’ve never experienced before (and Givenchy doesn’t even list it on the notes). The alchemists at Bonneville and Joelle Lerioux Patris did an incredible job. I imagine Eros and Aphrodite would set the scene in Eden with this: sensual but not overly sweet, perfect for delighting blindfolded guests. It’s a soft, balsamic amber without any harshness, featuring delicate woods like quality cedar and an incense similar to Serge Lutens’ L’ Orpheline: soft and friendly. The amber dominates, alternating with woods and incense for hours; it projects for 2 hours and lasts 6-8 based on my tests, finishing with incense and minimal sweetness. My only gripe: at this price (around $200 for 50ml), it should project more; after 2 hours, it’s skin scent only, ideal for self-pleasure or intimate closeness. A must-have for quality lovers of amber, wood, and incense. Warm greetings, fellow fragrance enthusiasts.
