  • The opening seems like the perfect incense, but as it dries and settles on the skin, after a few hours, something unpleasant emerges, acidic, reminiscent of urine. Maybe it was just a bad impression at the time…? I need to test it again because I’m thinking about buying this or Myrrhe Impériale. Who knows, a future test will say.

  • I just tried it at Barcelona airport, and it reminds me more of La Liturgie than Cardinal, though it’s a bit sweeter and less dry. The sales associate was great, super friendly, and very knowledgeable. I can’t give a full opinion yet since I only sprayed it on my hand, but I’ll enjoy it on the flight.

  • Another incredible incense from Armani. Unlike its brother Bois D’Encens, this one is more resinous, warm, and sweet, with nothing liturgical; it’s a very elegant interpretation that competes with amber. The opening is a beautiful incense, smoky, spicy, and sweet over a subtle but perceptible woody base that gives it body. It’s not as frugal as others and takes its time to fade, but when it does, the incense becomes very amber-like and sweet, losing the smoke to let the amber shine. This amber feels spicy, warm, and powdery thanks to the shifting woods in the base. Gradually, these woods become smoky again, creating a sensation of smoke instead of direct incense: a sweet, warm, smoky, and exotic amber that I love. The dry down is an amber rich in woody nuances that integrates into the skin until it disappears. It’s an incense, resinous, and woody scent to my taste, but not to my wallet’s. Its performance exceeds 8 hours, better than its brother, and the projection is moderate from the start. It’s perfect for cold or temperate climates and for the night; if you can afford it, it’s a must-buy if you like these aromas.

  • Another incredible incense from Armani. Unlike its brother Bois D’Encens, this one is more resinous, warm, and sweet, not liturgical, but a very elegant interpretation that shares the spotlight with amber. The opening is a gorgeous incense, very smoky and spicy, sweet and resinous, over a subtle but perceptible woody base that gives it body. It’s not as frugal as others and takes its time to fade, but when it does, the incense becomes very amber-like and sweet, losing the smoky touch to let the amber shine. This amber feels spicy, warm, and powdery thanks to the shifting woods in the base. Gradually, these woods become smoky again, giving the sensation that the incense reappears, but as smoke, not as incense, creating a gorgeous scent: a sweet, warm, smoky, and exotic amber that I love. The dry down is an amber rich in woody nuances that integrates into the skin until it disappears. It’s an incense, resinous, and woody scent to my taste, though not to my wallet’s. Its performance exceeds 8 hours, better than its brother, with moderate projection at the start, not a beast, but it’s decent. If we look at the price, we think differently. It’s ideal for cold or temperate climates and for the night; I don’t recommend it due to the cost, but if you can afford it, it’s a perfume you should consider if you like these aromas.

Although I haven’t tried the entire Privé collection, the ones I’ve smelled are amazing, and I don’t understand why they aren’t on everyone’s lips. I just hope they don’t discontinue them, because they are a treat from start to finish. The price… well, we all know it’s not cheap, but it’s a pity what you pay for these jewels. Encens Satin is one of the most delicious, sweet, and warm incenses I’ve ever felt; at times I feel surrounded by precious, reddish, spectacular woods, like in a spiritual or musical sanctuary. If you’ve ever smelled red cedar or liquidambar resin, you’ll know what I mean. It has a lot of movement: elegance, melancholy, tranquility, and warmth, ideal for cold days. It pushes you into a meditative and peaceful state. I love everything about it. Some might find it sweet, but it’s not a boring sweet; it’s a natural sweetness accompanied by warmth. Excellent scent, great projection and trail, with incredible longevity.

Unfortunately, I haven’t heard the entire Armani Privé collection, but the ones I’ve tried are amazing. I don’t understand why they aren’t more popular, but I like that they keep going like this. I just hope they don’t discontinue them because they are a treat from start to finish. The price… well, we all know that’s what you have to pay for these jewels. This Encens Satin is one of the most delicious, sweet, and warm incenses I’ve ever smelled. Sometimes I feel surrounded by precious and fresh woods, with reddish tones and ebony-like forms from some spiritual or musical sanctuary. If you’ve ever smelled red cedar or liquidambar resin, you’ll know what I mean. It has a lot of movement, a back-and-forth of elegance, melancholy, and tranquility, especially on cold days. It invites you to a meditative and peaceful state. I love everything about it. For some, it might seem sweet, but it’s not a boring sweet, but one accompanied by the warmth that only nature gives. Excellent scent, great projection and trail, with very good longevity.

  • In this cold weather, I’m using this Armani Privé beast, undoubtedly my favorite incense today. It’s a dry incense of tremendous quality with a fantastic resinous amber. I’m lucky to have about 80 ml that I’ll ration for years, because it’s been sadly discontinued for years. I hope Armani will go back to betting on orientals of this caliber; I think they’ve lost quality and ideas in their recent launches.

  • In this cold weather, this Armani Prive is my lifesaver; a dry incense of brutal quality with a resinous amber that never fails. I’m lucky to have 80 ml to last me years, since it’s sadly discontinued. I hope Armani will go back to betting on orientals of this caliber, because lately they’ve lost quality and spark.
