  • Sophisticated and elegant perfume. It moves away from the trend of sweet, floral, and vanilla scents. I discovered it after trying more than 50 fragrances in a month. This one hooked me, and I’ve worn it for over 5 years. The downside is that it was discontinued in 2010. I’ve been searching for something similar without success so far.

  • Pepruma, if you ever find something that reminds you of it, let me know because it was also a huge loss for me.

  • I just picked one up at Cristian Lay that they claim is inspired by it. I’ve already ordered it and will let you know once it arrives.

Seeing a photo of this perfume brings back beautiful memories. Mr. Tore, if you know the name of the fragrance he mentions, please let me know; I’d really appreciate it.

  • I managed to snag a 2006 bottle, batch UC209, which is pure gold in my area back in 2020. It opens with a strong, spicy citrus, with hints of grass and licorice not listed on the notes. As it dries down, it reveals a mentholated note like Mentholatum—light and pleasant—closing with musk. The vetiver is present throughout. People say it smells like Dunhill Icon, but I own both and they are worlds apart: Icon is sweet and grape-gum-like, while City Glam is mature, earthy, and zero sweetness. It lasts 6 hours on skin; projects a bit for the first two hours, then stays close to the skin until it fades, leaving just a faint musk trail. It’s elegant and characterful, but it smells dated for anyone over 25. I love it, but I wouldn’t recommend it due to the insane price of being discontinued. If I could get it at the original price, I’d buy it again without hesitation; it’s a great Armani.

I went for this discontinued gem without a second thought: I grabbed the flanker for him and decided to keep my own version for her, but I’m gifting this one to my husband. I’m a little nervous it won’t suit him since it smells different from everything he usually wears. It’ll arrive in a few days, fingers crossed it’s a hit 🤞🏻
