It was a blind buy: I read the reviews, it said it smelled of roses, plus the name ‘Sea Rose’ made me want to try it. It’s a simple scent, extremely simple… it smells clean but nothing special; I can hardly detect the roses. The sillage is virtually non-existent. I definitely don’t like the Cool Water line. The opening is a light citrus touch, like a faint breeze of citrus, and its base of ‘roses’ is almost imperceptible.
It’s not the minty freshness of Cool Water Woman, it’s a fresh little floral; it’s not as refreshing and revitalizing as the original, but it does have a more feminine touch. Longevity and sillage are subtle. As for the notes, I find it artificial, with no specific note standing out, because certainly no one would say you smell like rose or orange. You just smell like something, and that’s it, but I could still wear it (maybe because on my other wrist I’m wearing the Roberto Cavalli EDP, and I just can’t wear anything else with that). In short, it’s a bland perfume that could easily be sold at Bershka. It doesn’t make me fall in love, by any means, but it doesn’t bother me either.
