  What I’m discovering about Roja Dove is its incredible development; I haven’t tried a single one that’s linear or changes with the weather. With Danger, the opening is powerful but fades quickly, giving way to a moderate evolution: indolic jasmine, lots of Ylang in the top notes that briefly reminds me of Chanel No. 5, and carnation with yellow flowers in the Paloma Picasso style—nothing like the originals. Throughout the entire evolution, it smells like many vintage classics. In Roja Dove, I’ve smelled many natural, clean jasmines, perhaps due to the real oil, but here it feels dirtier, and it’s not bad at all. The rose is almost a carnation, creating a rose-clove accord. At 20 minutes, the iris root is very noticeable, heavily nuanced with sandalwood. It’s hard to decipher each note; they’re all well-blended, but with so much development, you get fleeting glimpses of them. It’s like smelling a bit of everything before closing in on its own personality. Another strong point is the trail and projection: they don’t overwhelm; they’re perceptible but intimate, as if made to perfume your skin with good longevity and last 10–12 hours, maybe more. They don’t disappear quickly; they linger close to the skin and are noticeable where you move. In short, they’re more personal, refined, and not harsh. They’re a different story that everyone will experience differently; you just need to give them time, rest your nose, and discover a great aromatic journey in Roja Dove.
