Avoid the danger? That’s exactly what Mr. Roja Dove does here, because the scent could be from any designer brand. If you don’t like interesting, recherché, complex, novel, or surprising scents, this is for you. The opening is the typical masculine perfume opening of the last 20 years. For a serious and elegant man. It perhaps becomes a bit more interesting as it dries down, but the problem is that at that point, it barely smells. Definitely those high ratings I see for sillage and longevity on Fragrantica must be from when the perfume came out 12 years ago, because today its performance is very moderate, just like any designer Eau de Parfum.

It’s an extreme luxury fougère. Very classic; it doesn’t try to reinvent anything or give the genre a twist like Sartorial, but it smells AMAZING. You could say it’s the sublimation, or one of the sublimations, of the style. Its ingredients and composition exude class and quality. It has quite high longevity and projection, and a dry-down that is a clean musk boosted by ambergris, lasting a long time on the skin and being an absolute delight.

  3. A distinguished perfume. The base is complex and creates a difficult-to-describe synergy: woods, vanilla, rhubarb, animal notes like ambergris and musk (no castoreum, unlike what Fragrantica erroneously states). On this base stands out a patchouli with lavender, a spiced, warm, and short-lasting citrus tone that gives a fleeting welcome with a floral heart of lily, jasmine, and violet. That is Danger. It exudes a distinguished, formal, masculine, mature, warm, and timeless vibe. You’ll feel a bit of “barbershop” from the lavender, but that’s where it stops. You’ve probably smelled this perfume in some way in other brands, but not with this level of quality and refinement, which is reflected in the price and presentation. Performance is moderate, masculine, and versatile. Tip: avoid the Parfum Cologne line (except Enigma/Creation-E) and jump to the collection pour homme, where there are parfum concentrations and more quality. In my opinion, Danger and Fetish are the best to debut with the brand; your appreciation will be very different if you follow a YouTuber chasing trends like “Elysium,” which is mediocre and its cologne version is even worse. It’s not for young people because that audience will smell like their dad and feel out of place. It’s like driving an “accord,” no more, no less. When I first heard it years ago, I thought: I need this. Later, I let my dad smell it, and something in his look and tone of voice made me feel guilty, knowing it was more than just his simple liking. Great perfume.

  4. A classy perfume. The base is a complex mess of woods, vanilla, rhubarb, and animal notes like ambergris and musk (no castoreum, unlike what Fragrantica sometimes confuses). On top, a patchouli with lavender, warm spices, and fleeting citrus notes that give a brief welcome before the floral heart emerges: lily, jasmine, and violet. That is Danger. ➡️ It vibrates with a distinguished, formal, masculine, mature, warm, and timeless aura. You’ll notice a bit of “barbershop” from the lavender, but that’s where it stops. You might have smelled something similar in other brands, true, but with a different level of quality and refinement. That shows in the price and packaging. Performance is moderate, masculine, and versatile. A tip: forget the Parfum Cologne line (except Enigma/Creation-E) and jump to the collection pour homme. Here the concentrations are parfum and the quality is in a different league; you’ll see what Roja is about. In my opinion, Danger and Fetish are the best to debut with the brand; your appreciation will be very different if you follow a YouTuber chasing trends like “Elysium,” which is the worst of the brand, mediocre (and the cologne version is even worse). It’s not for young people, because it will smell like their dad and they’ll feel out of place. It’s like driving an “accord,” no more, no less. Let me tell you… when I first heard Danger years ago, I thought: I need this. Later, I let my dad smell it. Something in his look and tone made me feel guilty; I quickly realized it was more than just his liking. Great perfume.

  5. One of my favorites: super masculine, seductive, and hypnotic. Totally worth the price, haha. It starts explosively with spices that ‘sting’ the nose, but then it calms down as other notes come in, becoming less sharp, more relaxed, and fuller-bodied. On the skin, it’s tenacious, lasting about 10 hours, leaving a noticeable scent bubble without being invasive. Once it settles, it smells more like a fougère than anything else. I’ve read some call it ’80s-inspired’ or reminiscent of that era; it has a classic vibe but feels very modern. The ingredients, like in all Roja perfumes, are super-premium, and you can really feel that ambergris that characterizes the brand’s ‘party finishers’: pleasant, not vomit-inducing, almost sweet, round, and without harsh edges. I have great experiences with it; it’s one of my go-to fragrances: I wear it for special occasions, work, or casual meetups. I own all three versions: parfum, EDP, and parfum-cologne. The parfum and EDP are almost identical, but the parfum is more intense and lasts longer on the skin, while the EDP is more expansive and projects more. The parfum-cologne is a modernized version, less wild, with a rounder opening and fewer spices (cumin and clove). I prefer the parfum or EDP depending on the situation. It’s worth the cost, though sometimes you can find it cheaper on trusted European websites; in fact, with currency fluctuations, it sometimes comes out better on the official site. EDIT (2-5-24): Time passes, I try more perfumes, and this Danger remains among my favorites.

I found it smelling it months ago, and it’s the most elegant and sexy fragrance I’ve tried. I bought the 50ml bottle immediately. At first, it smells soapy, like a barbershop, and might sound like an older adult, but what the heck… After a few minutes the magic appears: a sweet base that lasts all the time (almost certainly musk) and uff… incredible. The longevity is infinite, up to 24 hours on skin even after showering, although at 6-7 hours it becomes a skin scent. If you put it on your neck, you feel bursts throughout the day, but I think only you notice them, which is more than enough. Since I don’t like many dates, but rather quality ones, in my last first date (months ago, without a mask), the person noticed it and generated such an olfactory memory that a 7/10 date became a 10/10 because of the perfume, and now it’s remembered as the “Danger” date. I have other high-quality perfumes, but I hope this will be one of my favorites for many years, maybe for life, applying it only when the occasion requires it. For special occasions, when you want to feel secure, sexy, and elegant. The bottle is beautiful with a glass cap, ideal for display. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 7.5/10 Price/Quality: 6/10 (around 400€ for 50ml). Satisfactions: 9.5/10. Goal: Romantic dates and formal events. Overall Score: 9.9/10.

I discovered it smelling it a few months ago, and it’s the most elegant and sexy fragrance I’ve ever smelled. I didn’t stop until I bought the 50ml bottle. At first, it smells soapy, leaning towards barbershop and an older person, but what the heck… A few minutes pass and the magic appears, with a sweet base that accompanies you all the time (almost certainly musk) and uff… absolutely incredible. The longevity is infinite; it can last 24 hours on skin even after showering, although at 6-7 hours it becomes a skin scent. If you put it on your neck, you’ll feel bursts throughout the day, but I think only you notice them, which is more than enough. Since I’m not one for many dates and prefer quality over quantity, I’ll say that in my last first date (a few months ago, luckily without a mask), the person noticed it and generated such an olfactory memory that although the date was a 7/10, it became a 10/10 because of the perfume memory, and now between us it’s remembered as the “Danger” date. I have other high-quality perfumes, but I hope this will be one of my favorites for many years, maybe for life, applying it only when the occasion requires it. As I said, for special occasions and when you want to feel secure, sexy, and elegant. It’s usually not mentioned, but the bottle is beautiful, with a glass cap. It’s for display. It’s a great blend of notes that, like an orchestra, add instruments one by one to create something harmonious and spectacular. The projection is top-notch and the longevity is incredible; I’ve worn it for 12 hours with just three sprays and it smells strong, without having to bring my nose close to my wrist. It continues projecting just like at the beginning, surviving even several motorcycle rides. It’s floral, with a warm touch and a bit of soapiness, but without bothering. It’s like attending a line of demanding people and suddenly focusing on someone who, without making a scene, captures your attention and makes you see what’s truly important. It reminds me of Amouage’s Reflection Man, but super-vitaminized, with more nuances, less soap, more unisex, and authentically unforgettable. From start to finish it’s discreet and honest, stands out for the sum of its parts, has an edgeless scent, is lasting, and could be your signature. It’s an all-rounder, but ideal for special occasions.

It’s an incredible blend where everything fits perfectly, like an orchestra in full tune. The projection is impeccable and the longevity is beastly; I’ve worn it for 12 hours with just three sprays and it smells the same as at the beginning, even after several motorcycle rides. It’s floral, warm, and with a soapy touch that doesn’t bother, but accompanies you naturally, like when in the middle of chaos you notice someone who makes you stop and focus on what’s important. It reminds me of Amouage’s Reflection Man but more potent, with less soap, more unisex, and authentically unforgettable. From start to finish it’s discreet, honest, and without edges, a lasting scent that defines you. It’s an all-rounder, ideal for special occasions.

  10. I tried it on skin and it’s the best I’ve ever smelled. I need a decant to try a bit more; it’s not cheap, but I want to own it.
