Couture! by Moschino

The jewel of Moschino, undoubtedly Olivier Cresp’s best creation for the brand. What a pity they ditched their best fragrance. For me, it’s ideal for special occasions; every time I wear it, that last magical moment comes back to life. I can’t stand strong perfumes, spicy ones, or overly sweet ones. Couture! is sweet in just the right measure: sublime, elegant, subtle, with a powerful floral blended with woody citrus and a touch of refined vanilla. It’s an inexplicable scent, almost aristocratic. They gifted it to me at 28, and at 47 it still seems equally appropriate and sublime. It’s for a classic, elegant, or simple woman who likes to stand out at special events. It has good longevity and projection: noticeable without being invasive. You can wear it any time of year, but only for occasions, not daily. The bottle is very elegant, with a red velvet ribbon, engraved button, and golden heart cap. I’m not a perfumer, but I try to express what I feel every time I wear it.

Words can’t explain it; you have to feel it. Honestly, I can’t identify the notes, other than saying it smells citrusy with a slight kick, but very fresh, clean, subtle, refined, and long-lasting. It has a great trail and longevity.

Hi, I just found this fragrance in Argentina, which is very difficult. A few years ago I smelled it but barely remember much, only the pepper in my memory, and it was fantastic, but over the years I almost don’t remember it, and where they have it, they don’t have testers. I don’t know if I could wear it with my eyes closed.

I loved it from the day they applied it to my skin. I feel like it’s MY PERFUME, and it makes me feel terrible knowing they discontinued it and I won’t be able to use it anymore. For months I’ve been trying one after another to find something similar or identify with it, but for now, I haven’t succeeded. What a pity they don’t produce it anymore. It always happens with good perfumes; they’re slowly disappearing, leaving only synthetics. For me: a great loss.

I had it a while back, and honestly, it ended up wearing me out because it was excessively sweet; the pepper note splashed all over me. It has traces very similar to Lolita Lempicka’s Si, at least on my skin. Although it didn’t excite me too much, I get so angry when they discontinue good perfumes :-(. On the other hand, it’s curious how mediocre and synthetic perfumes stay on the market forever :-S

I searched and searched for this little jewel until I found it: it’s delicious, refined, and very much my taste. It’s for confident women; if you have the opportunity, try it, it lasts a long time. I have a dress soaked in that scent, highly recommended!
