Looking back at what I’ve tried from Fragonard, I’ve found a truly interesting house. Their fragrances always smell natural, nothing synthetic, and they’re very affordable. I’m a huge fan of their Fleur d’Oranger; I think it’s one of the best orange blossom scents I’ve ever smelled. Rose Lavande is a surprising blend of rose and lavender, with hints of peony and violet. I’ve always felt that lavender adds interesting depth, but without fear: this isn’t a classic barbershop scent, but a pure, bright feminine perfume. It’s like a mix of freshness and sweetness (it has pear and tonka bean), very suggestive. Although it’s clearly feminine and I’d never wear it myself (there are other feminine scents I would), I love smelling it; it gives me good feelings and makes me feel great. Its trail is potent, and I understand why some might find it a bit heavy. Some compare it to Delina. I don’t know what else to say.
