I received it today along with the pistachio one, a new launch. In this cinnamon case, I have to say it felt a bit underwhelming. It smells good, but I have similar ones with better projection, like Spicy Pumpkin & Marshmallow by Jousset Parfums (an absolute gem) or Pumpkin Pie by Library Of Fragrance (very affordable). To my nose, it just smells like sweet, very soft cinnamon. If you want something that smells like gingerbread cookies with nice ginger, I recommend the Jo Malone Christmas one. But since I got it today, these are first impressions. UPDATE: Days have passed and I totally retract my initial thoughts. I don’t base opinions on first impressions. I’ve worn it for three days and I like it more each time. On the first day, right after spraying, it felt ‘asleep,’ giving the impression it fades quickly. After three days, it’s 4 PM now and I sprayed it at 10 AM. It smells to me just like a marshmallow milk and cinnamon ice cream cone and a long barquillo. Authentic delight, creamy, ‘cinnamon-y,’ lactonic, and slightly vanilla. Very happy with the purchase. Longevity: 6-8 hours, but lasts longer on a sweater. Absolutely comfortable, cozy, gourmand but not excessively sweet. No regrets. Even though it has similarities to what I mentioned, it has its own personality. It’s marshmallow milk with a barquillo and cinnamon.
It’s a true cinnamon roll; the scent is so real it smells like warm, melted butter glaze. I usually wear something like Bianco Latte or one with white chocolate to give it more realism and sweetness. For the price, it’s like owning a niche perfume at home.
More than Swedish rolls, it smells to me like butter cookies with lots of cinnamon. In terms of longevity and sillage, it’s very similar to Theodoros Kalotinis perfumes: at first, they hit you hard, you think it will last forever, but after half an hour it drops. Quite realistic aroma, but longevity and sillage leave something to be desired. Even so, excellent price for a niche fragrance. For gourmand lovers.
As explained perfectly above: it smells like marshmallow milk with cinnamon, even the cone. At first, the butter note is a bit sharp (happened to me with others), but once it settles, it adds more realism. I haven’t tested longevity yet, but it projects strongly and I can’t believe it won’t last. I’m not sure if I’ll feel comfortable because the scent is so realistic. I think the gourmand side is getting out of hand XD
Addictive scent that leaves you craving more, and that’s its problem because it’s incredibly weak. Horrible performance, but delicious. It smells more like cinnamon bread than those super sweet and creamy rolls. No, this isn’t that.
More to me than Swedish cinnamon rolls, it smells like butter cookies with lots of cinnamon. Longevity and trail pass quickly with Kalotinis perfumes: at first, they hit you with an intense flash, making you think it lasts all the time, but it drops after half an hour. Quite photorealistic aroma, but longevity and trail leave something to be desired. Even with that, excellent price for a niche perfume. For gourmand lovers.
Smells like a very realistic cinnamon roll; you can smell the butter glaze, melted and warm. Delicious, only for lovers of sweets and full-on cinnamon. I agree the opening is powerful, but longevity doesn’t reach two hours, but for the price, you can’t ask for more. I bought it just smelling it on paper, but then on my skin, the butter note didn’t work for me; I felt greasy. Pity it’s not a cleaner, airier cinnamon, although then it wouldn’t be so realistic. I gifted it to my teenage daughter, and she’s thrilled.
Like most Theodoros, this one is edible. If you were looking for a scent true to its name, here it is: cinnamon, butter, and lots of sugar giving a true cinnamon roll. When it dries, the buttery harshness drops quite a bit, which I appreciate, leaving a more wearable vanilla and cinnamon gourmand. Longevity is around 4 hours on skin, with overwhelming projection and trail at first, but don’t get fooled; after half an hour, it drops sharply and becomes practically intimate. I see it as unisex if you like gourmands. Wearable mainly in fall-winter due to its profile, though projection-wise it could be year-round. It tasted very good to me, but the same thing happens with all these perfumes: I find it hard to find occasions to wear them. Also, the performance is weak, so I probably won’t keep it.
The opening is super lactonic; I sense a lemon glaze with cinnamon and a very present lactonic base. Then it dries down in 2 minutes, balances out, and settles like a cookie kuchen with a hyper-realistic cinnamon. My expectations were high and they were exceeded. Being used to commercial and synthetic aromas isn’t bad, but I was looking for something new, high-quality, and realistic. I didn’t think it had such good quality, and for the price, it’s a gift. Definitely, some will hate it and others will love it; if you’re a gourmand lover looking for something realistic and edible, this TH is ideal to start. It reminds me of a bakery, a cookie kuchen, and glaze. Relatively good longevity, lasts all day on skin, and if it macerates, it becomes a bomb.
Most perfumers are abstract painters; Kalotinis is the photographer. The opening is super milky; I feel a lemon glaze with cinnamon and a strong milky base. Then it dries down in 2 minutes, balances out, and ends up as a hyper-realistic cinnamon cookie kuchen. My expectations were high and they were exceeded. The name reflects the aroma very well, no deception. With a powerful opening that you imagine will be beast mode, but the projection drops quickly and moves to a more personal bubble, but it’s not that bad. Maybe you’ll wear it almost all year round, except in summer. This house has positioned itself very well in gourmand aromas with a great quality-to-price ratio.
The name reflects the scent well, no deception. It has a powerful opening that’s a bit scary, but the projection drops quickly into a personal bubble, which isn’t so bad. Maybe use it almost all year except in summer. This house has positioned itself well in gourmands with a very good quality-to-price ratio.
Starts with a super realistic, very indulgent cinnamon roll. Then it transforms into the potpourri your mom used to put in the communal bathroom. Luckily, it doesn’t last long.
More than a cinnamon roll, it reminds me of condensed milk without lemon. It’s very rich and you can tell the ingredients are quality. It doesn’t have beastly projection, but it creates a very pleasant personal bubble.
More to me than a cinnamon roll, it reminds me of dulce de leche without the lemon. It’s very delicious and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. It doesn’t have beastly projection, but it creates a very pleasant personal bubble.
Something weird happens with this one for me. On paper, it smells amazing: milk, lemon, and cinnamon, just like my grandma’s warm rice pudding. But on my skin, it lasts seconds before turning into rancid lard or old yeast, nothing like the description. I thought macerating would help, but it didn’t. Everyone else loves it, so I guess it’s my skin clashing with the butter note. The longevity and projection are very low. I don’t recommend buying it blind.
It’s pure gourmand, smells like cinnamon rolls right down to the bone. I add a bit of Bianco Latte or something with white chocolate to give it more realism and sweetness, which it doesn’t lack. For the price, it’s like owning a niche perfume at home.
Full-on gourmand. The scent is so real it tastes like a cinnamon roll. I, to give it more realism and sweetness (which it doesn’t lack), usually wear something like bianco latte or with white chocolate. For the price it has, it’s like owning a niche perfume.
