Basically cherry and leather. Very unisex because it’s not sweet. I have a decant and liked it for being uncommon, but don’t buy it without trying. I don’t think I’ll buy the full bottle because cherry isn’t my favorite note. If you like it, it’s a good option: Cherry Punk is much better than Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry.

  • Oxymoron: the figure that joins opposite words to create something new. There’s something poetic in clashing extremes: the cold of your heat, the sweet agony. Cherry Punk is exactly that: cherry vs. leather fighting for the spotlight for 8 hours. The bottle is neon red with a silver stopper-style cap. On the skin, a dense liquid; to the nose, a sweet Tootsie Roll palette cherry, nothing natural but juicy, with a spicy touch of saffron. Then comes a deep, elegant, and earthy leather. The notes fight for everything all the time; sometimes leather wins, other times cherry. So masculinely feminine, rudely classy. It sounds like ‘Cherry Bomb’ by The Runaways: girls playing loud but coquettish. Visually it’s Joan Jett: red jacket, neon lights, smoke, but with a sophisticated and sensual aura. Addictive, though it lacks a 10 for the packaging: the cap pops off, the bottle chips, the box has spills. For $200, the packaging leaves much to be desired, just like Tom Ford, but the scent has nothing to do with it. Cherry Punk is the beautiful conflict of opposites.

  • Oxymoron: the figure that joins opposites to create something new. There’s something poetic in clashing extremes: the cold of your heat, the sweet agony. Cherry Punk faces two rivals for 8 hours: leather against cherry. The bottle is neon red, like an underground bar, with a silver stopper-style cap. On the skin, a dense and intriguing liquid. The nose receives a sweet Tootsie Roll cherry, nothing natural but juicy, accompanied by a spicy saffron. Then, a dense, elegant, and earthy leather. The notes fight for the spotlight all the time; sometimes leather wins, other times cherry. The best of opposites. So masculinely feminine, rudely classy, charmingly powerful. It doesn’t go unnoticed because it has something for everyone. In sound, it’s ‘Cherry Bomb’ by The Runaways: strong and coquettish girls. In image, Joan Jett. An oxymoron with ‘Ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb’ in the background, red jacket, neon lights, and smoke, all wrapped in sophistication and electric sensuality. You get obsessed with the contrasts. Last detail: although it’s one of my favorites, I don’t give it a 10 for the packaging. The metal cap pops off, there’s chipping, spills in the box, and a packaging that for $200 leaves much to be desired (though Tom Ford also makes terrible boxes). Fortunately, nothing affects the scent. Cherry Punk is the beautiful conflict of opposites.

  • It’s punk, rebellious, metallic, acidic, and sometimes on my skin it smells like vinyl. It’s one of the most ambiguous and cheeky fragrances in my collection: at times it brings nostalgia, at others it grounds me in reality. I can’t define it; it’s like it writes sensations for the day. It’s insulting to say it doesn’t remind me of Tom Ford; it’s lightyears away from those simple lines. It’s an inner war that fascinates me, which is why I pay its price without hesitation. That’s why I love the niche world.

At times it brings nostalgia, other times it grounds me. I can’t give a concrete definition to such a work of art; I could be writing down sensations one day. It seems insulting to say it doesn’t even remind me of Tom Ford; it’s lightyears away from those linear fragrances. This is an internal war; I’m fascinated by it and pay the price without thinking twice, which is why I love the niche world.

Very punk, dark cherry dressed in a leather jacket. Ideal for night outs and cold temperatures. Unisex. Reminded me of Guerlain’s Black Perfecto.

  • What an interesting thing. You have a heavy leather, Tom Ford Ombre Leather style, that lasts the entire life of the perfume, alongside a very high-quality cherry that also stays impregnated throughout the evolution. It’s unisex with a feminine touch and perfectly conveys the punk vibe it aims for, though it also works well with formal wear. A bold, personality-filled scent, which I love in perfumery.

A very punk, dark cherry with a leather jacket vibe. Perfect for going out at night in the cold. Unisex. It reminded me of Guerlain’s Black Perfecto.

Unlike other sweet and playful cherries, this one is executed perfectly: sweet, friendly, and with a dark edge, without being loud or overly feminine. Leather is the star, clean and refined, reminiscent of Ombre Leather, with a metallic touch that honors the name. It starts as a coquettish and dark scent, but over time it fades into a sweet, opaque blend. Longevity is good (around 6 hours), but projection and sillage drop significantly as it dries down, so using a decant is ideal. It’s perfect for urban nights, gritty bars, indie concerts, or rebellious walks. It suits any gender if you have the right character; pair it with a black, gray, or red leather jacket. It’s not for suits or hoodies. It’s sensual, interesting, and screams ‘I’m different’ without being weird, just a novel combination that I love. It’s frustrating that perfumery can’t maintain these complexities, but until then, I’ll settle for this.

Unlike other perfumes where cherry smells like a red candy (like Cherry Cherry), this one is executed very well. It’s not medicinal or sour, but sweet, friendly, and slightly dark. It’s also not loud or overly feminine like Electric Cherry, which is a hit. Leather accompanies from the start: it’s not animalic or dirty, but clean and refined, reminding me of Ombre Leather. There’s a metallic touch from the name, but my nose doesn’t highlight it much. At first, it’s a coquettish and dark leather-cherry scent, but over time it fades. After an hour and a half, you have to use your imagination to keep noticing the cherry and leather; the perfume becomes a sweet, opaque, and slightly metallic mess. It doesn’t smell bad, but it loses originality and projection. Longevity is decent, around 6 hours, but since the dry-down is boring, it’s mandatory to carry it in a decant. Its trail could be better. Blame it on the name, bottle, and marketing, but the ideal setting is nocturnal, urban, and rebellious: a gritty bar, an indie concert, a meetup with friends, or a street walk. It’s for any gender if you have the right character, regardless of age: it suits a relaxed student or a spoiled adult. And yes! The ideal outfit is a leather jacket, black, gray, or red to highlight that rebellion. Brown is more formal and serious, the opposite of this perfume. Personally, I wouldn’t wear it without a leather jacket. By nature, it’s not suitable for a suit or dress, and even if you’re urban, why smell like sensual leather-cherry with a hoodie and joggers? Anyway, I’m not here for fashion advice, wear it with whatever you want. It’s a sensual, interesting, rebellious scent that screams ‘I’m different’. Despite the name, it’s not ‘weird’ or for pseudo-experts, but easy to like. It doesn’t complicate things beyond combining cherry and leather, which I appreciate. I like it and it’s my second or third option for using cherry. I’m just frustrated that perfumery can’t keep complex aromas for longer. Maybe in 30 years there will be a cherry perfume that smells good from atomization until before bed. Until then, I’ll settle for this.

  • Loved it, though I was a bit scared when I first opened it due to that strong leather note. It projects a little and the average longevity didn’t convince me much, but if it were a designer scent, I’d give it a shot. What really blew my mind was the cherry: very sweet, dark, and dry—a total hit.
