Finally found a review of Drakecito without the drama, haha. I’m going blind-buy, but first I’m grabbing a decant to test it out.

An aromatic citrus scent that cranks the cider’s acidity to the max. Fresh, cheerful, and energetic, though its sharpness can make it seem artificial, like floor cleaner or room spray. If you imagine a green, sour, bumpy cider, you’ll understand it smells more like blended broth than perfume. The best part? It lasts 6-7 hours with great projection. There are cheaper options, but they don’t last as long. Compared it to Jeanne en Provence’s Verveine Cedrat: little evolution, always citrusy, with a green vetiver touch at the end. Totally unisex, shines in the heat, and is versatile, though for me, it’s better in casual settings.

Does it smell good? Yes. Natural? At first, yes, then it turns into a gummy candy. It doesn’t last long, and the dry-down reminds me of CK One Summer. Not bad, but expensive, and for that price, it’s a stretch.

Smells amazing, a top-tier citrus with a very light menthol note that doesn’t overpower it but adds nuance. I’m not sure about the longevity yet; I doubt it performs as advertised. If it does, it’s perfect and worth it; if not, I’ll stick with Eau Rochas Homme baths for a third or fourth of the price, which bring back good memories.

Fantastic citrus fragrance, the best I own in this category. Incredible longevity for a citrus, moderate sillage. It has superior niche quality compared to all other niches, a brutal lemon. I should really sell my other 20 citrus scents and keep only this one. Highly recommended.

I think this is a huge fragrance. Classy citrus with more than acceptable performance, lasting about 9-10 hours. Ideal for hot days or after a good shower. Very high quality and a price that has nothing to do with its big-brand siblings. If you want a good citrus, this is a smart choice. Basically citrus, mint, and vetiver. It’s not invasive or overwhelming, so even if you overspray, you won’t bother anyone.

This smells like lemon. Just lemon, but in all its glory. A hyper-realistic, huge, bumpy lemon, with a two-and-a-half-inch peel. It smells like juice, zest, freshly cut in half, and instinctively bringing your fingers to your mouth: that bitterness and astringency that makes you salivate and grind your teeth. A marvel. It’s invigorating, energizing, bright, and refreshing. I was very surprised by the skin longevity, extremely long for a citrus, thanks to the bergamot, without those plastic musks and woods that ruin citrus colognes. I got 200 ml. Projection is moderate to low, but it leaves a trail as you walk. It’s a lemon cologne. Very good, watch out: this isn’t citronella or mosquito repellent, but that’s where it stops. Don’t expect great complexity or a dreamy, seductive perfume. You barely notice the mint and vetiver (you have to look for them). I don’t perceive the sweet base notes at all (maybe in winter). Anyway, it’s getting close to being the perfect lemon fragrance; I can’t think of anything else to ask for.

This smells like lemon. Just lemon, but in all its glory. A hyper-realistic, huge, bumpy lemon with a thick rind. It smells like the juice and the zest. It smells and tastes like being freshly cut in half and instinctively bringing your fingers to your mouth: that bitterness and astringency that makes you salivate and grit your teeth. A marvel. It’s invigorating, energizing, bright, and refreshing. I was very surprised by the longevity on skin, very long for a citrus, helped by the bergamot, without those plastic musks and woods that ruin citrus colognes. I got a 200ml bottle. Projection is moderate-low, but it leaves a trail when you walk. But this is what it is, a lemon cologne. Very good, watch out: this is not citronella or mosquito repellent. Don’t expect great complexity or a dreamy or seductive perfume. The mint and vetiver are barely perceptible (and you have to hunt for them). I absolutely don’t perceive the sweet base notes (maybe in winter?). In any case, it’s approaching the perfect lemon fragrance; I can’t think of anything else to ask for.

After reading such glowing reviews, I got curious to try it; more than the aromatic citrus family, it’s one of my favorites. And after trying it, the only thing I can say is that its aroma is sublime. I’ve verified that the oils are of very high quality, real, and close to the scent of citrus fruits. The most notable are bergamot and especially lime, which gives it that slight bitterness of a zested peel. I detect other herbal notes like mint and something that seems like lemon leaves. For a citrus, it lasted over 8 hours, which is very good, since these fragrances tend to evaporate more easily than oriental ones. It’s for spring and summer (in my region, it can stretch into autumn due to the heat). For anyone who likes citrus, it’s a must-try. The price isn’t cheap, but it might be worth it for the aroma and performance.

After reading such good reviews, I got curious to try it, since the aromatic citrus family is one of my favorites. And after trying it, the only thing I can say is that its scent is sublime; I’ve confirmed that indeed the oils used in this fragrance feel of very good quality and very real, close to the scent emitted by citrus fruits. In this case, the most notable are the bergamot and especially the lime, which gives it that slight bitterness, like the aroma of the rind zest. I can smell some other herbal notes like mint and something that to me seems to smell like the leaves of a plant called cedar. For a citrus fragrance, it had a duration superior to 8 hours, which is very good, since usually the scent of these fragrances volatilizes more easily than that of oriental notes, for example. It’s a fragrance for spring and summer use (for the climate in my region it can reach into autumn, as it gets very hot). For those who like citrus fragrances like me, it’s a must-try. Its price isn’t cheap, however, it may well be worth it, as its scent and performance have seemed very good to me.
MIQUELEMG
Fresh, citrusy, and clean, with excellent performance and perfect for warm, humid climates like mine. It doesn’t feel chemical or artificial at all; projection is medium, and longevity is notable without having a noticeable woody presence. It’s not cheap, but the performance and naturalness make up for it.

Super-citrusy and fresh opening. Then mint, juniper, and a touch of sweetness. I love it. For summer and daytime. Good longevity, sillage is not bad.
oscarsh86
It kicks off super citrusy, fresh, and with an effervescent touch. I really get the lime and citron. Then, in the heart, the mint and basil give it a green vibe. Finally, the vetiver adds a slight woody note without losing its freshness. The best thing about Cedrat Enivrant is that it lasts forever; for a citrus, the longevity and projection are top-notch. It’s unisex, though it leans more toward men. Perfect for heat, but works in the cold too. Great for day and night. A fantastic fragrance from Atelier.
drakecito
One of the best citrus scents I’ve ever tried. It’s lemony, with citron, lime, and bergamot. I barely notice the mint, same with the vetiver or juniper berries (I don’t smell the juniper at all). Depending on the day, it can come out more acidic or slightly sweeter, maybe due to the juniper berries. If the bergamot stands out, it gives a ‘calizo’ effect that I sometimes don’t detect, or if it does, it adds an orangey tone. Perfect for summer and feels very natural. Longevity and trail are impressive, easily lasting 6-7+ hours on skin. The trail is strong at first, then moderate. I tested it against Dior’s new ‘Eau Sauvage COLOGNE’ and it seemed very similar, but Dior feels more forced, less natural, flatter, with fewer nuances and worse performance. A great tribute to citrus and gin-tonic by Atelier. The 200ml bottle that comes with a 30ml travel size in a custom leather case offers excellent value. (I swear I have no relation to the brand. XD). If you like citrus, refreshing, and high-quality scents, this is a must-have.

One of the best citrus fragrances I’ve ever tried. Lemony, with citron, lime, and bergamot. The mint is barely noticeable, same with the vetiver or juniper (absolutely none of the juniper). Depending on the day, it sometimes comes out more acidic, other times a bit sweeter, perhaps due to the juniper berries. When the bergamota stands out, it gives a ‘calizo’ effect that sometimes doesn’t appear or I don’t detect it, and if it does, it adds a slightly orangey tone. Perfect for summer and feels very natural. Longevity and trail are impressive for this type of fragrance, easily exceeding 6-7 hours on skin. The trail is very good for the first 2-3 hours, then moderate. I recently tried Dior’s new ‘Eau Sauvage COLOGNE’ and it seemed very similar (too similar, perhaps…) to this one from Atelier, but the Dior feels much more forced, less natural, and above all flatter, with many fewer nuances and also worse performance. A great tribute by this great brand to citrus and gin-tonic, as well as a practical demonstration of how to make a citrus cologne, a theme this house masters perfectly. The 200ml bottle that comes with a 30ml travel size in a custom leather case (with your chosen color and engraved text) seems to offer excellent value. (I swear I have no commercial or other kind of relation with the brand. XD). For me it’s easy: If you like citrus, refreshing, and high-quality fragrances, I think it’s a must-have.
