Pacific Lime is an Atelier fragrance that, as a citrus-fruity summer perfume, isn’t entirely bad. At first, it reminded me of Pascual’s multi-fruit blends, though I know it’s high-end, I expected more. Over time, this Mexican lime gains strength and bite, just like in Vanille Insensee, and the fragrance becomes very intense. I barely smell the coconut; it gives that milkshake vibe because it’s milky pulp, not synthetic. Towards the end, in its middle phase, is when I like it most, thanks to the eucalyptus I can detect; it gives me a feeling of a lost paradise among palm trees, that’s where I’d actually wear it. A bit effervescent, I suppose due to the mint. Its performance is good for a summer perfume; it lasted a long time on skin with two sprays, but used liberally on the neck, wrists, and chest, it smells quite a bit. I think it’s perfect for those who like sweet scents and non-acidic tropical limes. I detect it as feminine, but yes, anyone can use it because it’s summery.
A proposal from Atelier that disappointed me a bit. I expected something more citrusy and refreshing, or at least cooler. It’s a lime sweetened to the point of being cloying, so sugary it doesn’t leave any room to breathe. I don’t detect the coconut, unless it’s part of that hyper-sweet fruit mix. It seems more synthetic than other scents from the brand. Longevity is average, maybe a bit less than other Atelier fragrances. Unisex? I see it as more focused on the feminine side. Rating: 6.
In short: from start to finish, it’s just lemon and a touch of coconut. It smells nice, without pretension or exaggeration. It lasts a maximum of 2 hours on skin. Ideal for putting on right after a shower to feel fresh. Would I recommend it? No, not for the high price; I don’t think it’s worth it since the scent is very basic for feeling fresh and clean. If you like citrus, you’ll love it; it’s super unisex. What I did notice is that it smells incredibly clean with a real coconut, not synthetic or gourmand. I’d a thousand times prefer the citrus body splash from Chik Chick, which lasts 6+ hours and costs only 80 pesos. EDIT: On skin, it fades quickly, but on clothes it lasts more than 6 hours depending on activity.
Pacific Lime is a sweet, refreshing, fruity, cheerful, and summery cologne. It’s citrusy but sweet, not acidic. The longevity is short on skin, but spraying it on clothes improves it significantly; it smells so good that every minute I get to enjoy it is worth it. It’s perfect for a hot day when you’re outdoors in shorts and sandals. It also looks perfect for the beach.
