Descripción
Carlo Pour Homme by Carlo Corinto is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2024, this creation is a new addition to the collection. The nose behind this composition is Honorine Blanc. The top notes unfold with cardamom, black pepper, and bergamot; the heart reveals patchouli, geranium, and rhubarb; while the base notes complete the structure with vanilla, woods, hazelnut, and musk.

I love it. It’s an amazing update that modernizes the classic Carlo Corinto. It smells seductive, lasts a long time, and is super easy to wear; it manages to unite things that seem opposite but fit perfectly. Cardamomo is the king here, and I was surprised by how it pairs with bergamot. The latter yields quickly to the floral heart, where geranium takes over (I’m not quite sure what the rhubarb smells like), but the cardamomo stays strong throughout the perfume’s life. Hazelnut wood and that vanilla also appear early, supporting the cardamomo to add sweetness. In short, it smells like a gourmand but isn’t cloying like chocolate cake; it’s a balanced gourmand, fresh, and with a spicy touch. Extra: though they don’t say it, I think there’s a clove accord coming through. At some point, it smells like a very spiced chai latte.
I love it. It’s an incredible balance that modernizes the classic Carlo Corinto. Seductive and powerful, it blends things that seem opposite but fit perfectly. Cardamomo takes the lead, and I was surprised by how it works with bergamot before yielding to the floral heart, where geranium shines (I’m not sure about the rhubarb, but it smells great). The cardamomo lasts a long time, along with hazelnut wood and vanilla that adds sweetness without being cloying like chocolate cake. It’s a balanced gourmand—fresh and spicy. By the way, though they don’t say it, it smells like clove, and at some point reminds me of a very spiced chai tea.
Ten minutes on the skin and it already smells like that typical Zara note I recognize; comparing it to Antique Brown, I realize it’s not bad at all since they share that very ‘Zara’ profile.
