Smells like cotton candy… but it didn’t convince me… I thought it would smell more like gingerbread cookies. The shower gel set has a fabulous presentation for gifting, that’s what I’ll do. Recommended for gourmand lovers. Excellent longevity and price.
It smells like cotton candy… but it didn’t convince me… I thought it would smell more like gingerbread cookies. The shower gel set has a fabulous presentation, ideal as a gift. Recommended for gourmand lovers. Excellent longevity and price.
I found it very similar to Pink Sugar but a bit less sweet, smelling only of cotton candy with the other notes barely noticeable. I imagined an orange polvoron-style cookie scent, like in Mexico, and was a bit disappointed because I can’t handle Pink Sugar.
It felt very similar to Pink Sugar but a bit less sweet, smelling just of cotton candy; the other notes aren’t noticeable. I imagined an orange shortbread cookie scent, like the ones in Mexico, a bit disappointed because I can’t handle Pink Sugar.
I was scared because synthetic scents from this brand usually give me nausea, but I was pleasantly surprised. At first, it was a blast of cotton candy and cocoa that I adored. Then came a synthetic note, like perfumed plastic or baby powder, which surprisingly didn’t bother me at all. I tested it in the heat and it didn’t feel suffocating; over time, ginger and vanilla emerged, leaving a delicious chocolate cookie scent with a ginger kick. It made me crave cookies with milk. It doesn’t smell as much like gingerbread cookies as I expected, but more like chocolate or orange. I absolutely love it: moderate sillage and incredible longevity.
I was both terrified and curious. Jeanne Arthes perfumes are usually synthetic, which gives me nausea, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this little one. Fortunately, it surprised me: it started as a bomb of cotton candy and cocoa, and I loved the opening. After a while, that synthetic note appeared, smelling like perfumed plastic, powdery, baby toy… and strangely, it didn’t bother me. I made the mistake of testing it on a hot day, but it didn’t suffocate me. I could enjoy it, though I think its strength is cold climates. After a while, ginger and vanilla emerged, the synthetic note faded, and I was left smelling like slightly gingered chocolate cookies. It was delicious; I even had a craving for milk and cookies lol. I expected gingerbread scent, but it smells more like chocolate or orange. Still, I’ve loved it, moderate sillage, and impressive longevity. ♡Scent: 9/10 ♡Sillage: 9.5/10 ♡Longevity: 10/10
I love it without any hesitation… it’s my favorite Jeanne Arthes perfume. Scent: 9.5/10, Longevity: 8/10 (lasts days on clothes). Sillage: 7/10. Would I buy it again? Yes. Recommended for under 25.
Bought this perfume based on the reviews, and the moment I opened it, I was instantly in love. Cotton candy triumphantly opens with vanilla and a comforting touch of orange. An hour later, vanilla lingers on the skin while cinnamon, gingerbread, and nutmeg emerge. In the dry-down, it’s just vanilla and cinnamon right up against the skin. It’s an affordable EDP ($9) that lasts 4-5 hours with good sillage; my boyfriend says I smell like gingerbread cookies. Perfect for cold weather, but also works outdoors in summer since the sweetness can be intense. I’d buy it again straight to my favorites. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 7/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 Price: $
Bought it for the great reviews and the moment I opened it: LOVE AT FIRST SNIF. Cotton candy made a triumphant entrance and enchanted my senses, paired with vanilla and a hint of orange. After an hour, vanilla lingers on the skin while cinnamon and delicious gingerbread notes with nutmeg emerge. In the end, I’m left with vanilla and cinnamon clinging to my skin. It’s an affordable EDP ($9), lasting 4-5 hours with good sillage; my boyfriend jokes I smell like Andes mints lol. Perfect for cold weather, but works outdoors in summer if you don’t mind the sweetness. Will buy again. Straight to my favorites! Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 7/10 Sillage: 8.5/10 Price: $
I love it beyond words… it’s my favorite by Jeanne Arthes! Scent: 9.5/10, Longevity: 8/10 (lasts days on clothes), Sillage: 7/10. Will repurchase: yes. Recommended for under 25.
This is my first Jeanne Arthes perfume and I already want the whole collection. It’s a great deal for the price, super sweet with cotton candy upfront and vanilla in the dry-down. It doesn’t smell like gingerbread or bread to me; instead, it reminds me of Animal Love by Animale.
My first Jeanne Arthes perfume and I already want them all!!! It’s affordable and lasts a long time. Super sweet, just how I like it; the cotton candy note dominates, followed by vanilla as it dries down. I don’t detect gingerbread or real ginger; it reminds me of Animal Love by Animale.
Delicious, lasts forever, smells like powdery sweet cotton candy, though a bit artificial.
One of my favorites: you can really smell the orange, cinnamon, and especially the ginger. I’m a huge fan of sweet and citrusy perfumes, and this is a perfect blend of both, though I wouldn’t wear it for formal occasions; it’s more for daily use. 9/10.
If you’ve ever baked gingerbread cookies with cinnamon, you know exactly what this smells like: it’s the same scent that fills the house while you’re baking. I gave it to my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it.
I bought it based on the reviews and YouTube videos, tried it, and couldn’t stand it :(, what a shame, I was really looking forward to it. I still can’t get past the smell; it gave me nausea. I have the red bottle version and that one is much more tolerable. This one smells very weird u.u
I’m a fan of winter scents, and this is no exception: a sweet cookie aroma with orange and sugar, adorable, innocent, and gourmand. Perfect to gift to a little girl. At first, it seems a bit synthetic, but then it transforms into a Christmas dessert. It will be my winter favorite, I’m betting on it, followed obviously by Fantasy.
Oh my god, I tried it again in winter and it’s grown like never before. The sillage has become heavy, but that little caramelized sweetness is still there. It seems not the only perfume that intensifies with the season change; I only applied one spray.
Something weird happened with this fragrance: I was curious but hesitant about the ginger since I didn’t like it much. I went to the mall, sprayed it on the tester, and it smelled like delicious cotton candy—super potent and fascinating—so I bought it. But when I sprayed my new perfume, I only smelled orange and ginger; the cotton candy with orange didn’t appear until half an hour later in the dry-down, which disappointed me a bit. If anyone knows why, please let me know.
A true beauty. Even as a collector, I recently bought my first Jeanne Arthes. What a marvel—that’s the right word. I adore gourmand or edible scents, I love Christmas, and this fragrance blends my love for the holiday season with fine pastries. I enjoy it like a little girl with a brand-new toy. Beyond the olfactory delight, it has top-notch quality: sillage, projection, longevity, and everything perfumery-related. I highly recommend it, especially for Christmas fans, gingerbread enthusiasts, and seasonal pastry lovers. It’s like stepping into a gingerbread snowhouse and seeing hundreds of cookies; I simply love it.
This perfume is delicious; it smells like gingerbread cookie with lots of vanilla and citrus, it’s divine. The price is very good, it’s cheap in my country.
This perfume is amazing. It smells like ginger cookies loaded with vanilla and citrus; it’s divine. The price is great; where I am, it’s super cheap.
It’s a masterpiece. It starts with a hint of Pink Sugar, but after half an hour, the ginger kicks in. I gifted it away due to its weak projection and now regret it, because the other four from the brand, once matured, exceeded my expectations. I haven’t found it again, but I’ll give it a second chance since I genuinely liked the scent.
It was delicious and super sweet; I miss it so much. I really hope they bring it back to Peru.
I bought it for B: Beautiful, Bonito, and Bargain.
I remember it vividly; it smelled like that ginger cookie with icing, but the downside was it didn’t last at all.
I tried it and absolutely loved it, but I wouldn’t recommend it: the ginger and orange combo is way too strong for me. 8/10.
