Descripción

Deep Sea by Jeanne Arthes is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2025, this creation unfolds a scent pyramid where the top notes evoke the sea alongside lemon and sour lime. The heart of the composition is nourished by algae, cashmere, and valley lily, also known as lily of the valley, while the base notes reveal ambroxan, woody nuances, and oakmoss.

  • Bought it blind looking for a summer scent based on the notes and it was a surprise. The opening is fresh and sweet without being gourmand, perfect for the heat. The fresh aroma lasts a good while before drying down to a slightly woody finish. Longevity on skin is notable: about 8 hours or more. On clothes, it didn’t last at first, but after the second wear, it lingered on my jacket for several days. I see it as unisex, with a slight masculine lean. On my first use, I got compliments; two people smelled it and liked it, though one found it strong. It’s noticeable without being annoying. So far, it didn’t remind me of anything, but people say it’s a discounted dupe of Orto Parisi’s Megamare, which I haven’t tried. In Argentina, it’s around $40 USD in stores. Although it seemed pricey due to the brand and I only grabbed it on sale, the performance surprised me. Maybe it’s worth it. With its great longevity and fresh profile, I’d buy it again.

  • Bought it blind thinking it would smell like Aqua di Gioia for women, but nothing alike. It says unisex, but to me it leans more masculine (and I like that). It’s fresh, marine, with a spicy kick. Although it’s linear, after 2 or 3 hours, something slightly sweet emerges that reminded me of Lattafa Bade’e Al Oud Sublime or copies of Baccarat Rouge 540, which makes sense since they share base notes. Still, it stays more masculine. In Argentina, there’s a brand called Boss (unrelated to Hugo Boss) with a similar one: Boss Intense. It’s good, not intrusive.

  • Got it at a great price and it smelled 90% like Atlas right away, which is why I bought it. Getting 100ml is a steal if you’re a fan of the original 55ml version. I don’t see it as unisex; it’s more on the masculine side, maybe with a slight unisex touch. Smells delicious. Will update if the longevity holds up. EDIT 1: It’s top tier, in my opinion, the lighter, sparkier version of Atlas. Performance is solid and noticeable.
