Smells very much like alcohol. For me, it’s not worth it if you’re looking for something similar to Serge Lutens’ Un Bois Vanilla.

It really smells like alcohol. If you’re looking for something like Serge Lutens’ Un Bois Vanilla, just forget this one.

It’s hard to explain: it opens with alcohol and synthetic coconut, an interesting mix with plum, but ultimately smells like tanning spray. It’s not bad; maybe it’s for winter nostalgia lovers or those who enjoy the scent of tanning spray. I’d wear it on the beach at night in summer, but for me, it’s dispensable. I prefer others and bought this blindly. Available for exchange in Valencia.

I bought it blindly, comparing it to Alexandre J’s Zafeer Oud Vanille and Serge Lutens’ Un Bois Vanilla. They’re very similar; it’s sweet and creamy, like nougat and dulce de leche. It has an acidic touch of juicy prunes (neither fresh nor smoky). It sounds like plastic and beeswax, but the original niche perfumes have that too, so it doesn’t seem cheap or synthetic. The projection is moderate but lasts a long time on the skin. The price hurts; it’s unconventional, and people think it smells bad because it’s cheap, when it emulates expensive perfumes very well.

  6. Fantastic clone, delicious and cozy vanilla perfect for home or casual wear. Easy to wear. Smells like vanilla with woody ylang-ylang, very creamy thanks to the coconut, with a soapy and powdery touch. Moderate trail and over 8 hours on my skin. One of those budget options worth it if you love vanilla. A must-have for fall and winter. Scent 8/10, longevity 8/10, sillage 7/10, value 10/10, versatility 8/10, packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? Yes.

  7. This is a fantastic cheapie: delicious, cozy vanilla, perfect for home or casual wear. I love it. It smells like vanilla with woody ylang-ylang, very creamy thanks to the coconut, slightly soapy and powdery. Moderate trail and over 8 hours on my skin. Worth it if you love vanilla and want variations. A must-have for autumn and winter. Scent 8/10, longevity 8/10, trail 7/10, value 10/10, versatility 8/10, packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

  8. Very soft scent. I feared it would be like Mancera’s Coco Vanille (which I like, but I have the original and don’t want a similar one), but nothing like it. It’s delicate, with very light plum and coconut, soft vanilla, not pastry-like. Smells clean and sweet, soft and pleasant for any season (though it fades in the cold). I loved it, and at this price, it’s a great gift.

  9. Very soft aroma. I feared it would be like Mancera’s Coco Vanille (I like it, but I own the original), but it’s nothing like that. It’s delicate; the plum and coconut are light, the vanilla is soft, not dessert-like. It smells clean and sweet, pleasant for any season (though it gets lost in the cold). Ideal for sleeping. I really liked it, and at this price, it’s a perfect gift.

  10. Regarding the synthetic note, I don’t see a difference from any other perfume that always has its own essence; otherwise, we’d still be in the era of colognes. As for the coconut, yes, it’s the protagonist alongside a very soft vanilla touch. For me, more than an oriental scent, it’s a 100% beach perfume. That’s what the coconut note does: it reminds you of coconut tanning sprays and the cocktails you drink by the sea. Otherwise, I like it and find it very pleasant.

Too grating, overwhelmingly synthetic to the point of being annoying. This brand is disappointing me, or maybe it’s just my nose that can’t catch the nuances others describe… setting aside the product’s price, I don’t care if it costs $8 or $80, as if it were free; if it’s a scent I don’t enjoy, the price paid doesn’t matter, it will be too much.

  13. elenamika

It’s a synthetic and artificial perfume. Its smell resembles a body wash or hair mask, in short, cosmetics with a coconut touch. It lasts on the skin for quite a few hours, though it doesn’t project much. It’s very similar to Love Generation Rock from the same house. Nothing surprising, nothing unexpected.

It has an air of Chanel No. 5 without the characteristic aldehydes. It must be the ylang-ylang combined with vanilla. In short, for the price, it’s good.

For the price, this beast is incredible. If it doesn’t hit you right, run, because it owns the room. Lasts about 5 hours with a moderate trail, no cloud in sight. Smells sweet, almost like Aquolina’s Gold Sugar. The plum is subtle, but the ylang-ylang and vanilla really stand out. I don’t get much cedar; it starts with coconut and then the rest comes through. 100ml at this price is a low-cost gem. Top value for money, safe buy.
