  1. Ana MF

I don’t miss Lira or Lolita anymore, though this one has a million lemon notes. Period.

  2. I picked this up at Lafayette. I tested several from the house there, and they’re all great. Café Tonka is identical to Black Opium but lasts longer and costs three times less. But Tendre is the most divine. I don’t trust Amazon, but on the My Origins website, they’re all cheap. It smells like Christmas: a cake with cinnamon and orange, super natural and realistic. It’s not cloying thanks to the citrus note that always lingers, and the trail is soft, not intrusive, so it works for any season. It’s softer than Amande du fleurie, which is more noticeable, but Tendre is more exquisite and gourmand. I agree with others; it’s in the top 5 gourmands. I like it because it doesn’t deceive; it smells exactly what it says, and the price is right. I haven’t tried L by Lolita, but I trust my fragrance colleagues, and it’s a blast. Warm and embracing, without being childish. It suits any age and gender; for me, it’s a hit because of its realism. I love this accessible niche house. If you can’t try it in your country, trust the reviews; it’s a 100% buy. Next up: Vanille Violet!

  3. I just started wearing it and don’t have a solid opinion yet, but the only thing I can say is that as soon as I put it on, I fell in love, literally. It smells straight into my top 5 favorite gourmands. It smells exactly as described: a tender madeleine, a little cake, a bun, super sweet, super delicious. I smell a lot of spice and vanilla, and also cinnamon (even though it’s not listed). One of the best perfume purchases I’ve made in recent months.

  5. Atalcadita

I bought this fragrance based on the reviews and I agree: it’s a clone of L by Lolita Lempicka but more diluted, it’s a cologne. L is much more concentrated, but for 27€, you can’t ask for more. It’s a perfect scent for cold weather, very cozy, smells like a cake.

  7. It has the three B’s: good, beautiful, and cheap. It says what it is; it smells like a blended madeleine inside the bottle, what a name so on the nose! It’s evocative, bringing you the warmth of home, Christmas, coming back from school, and mom having put a cake in the oven. Sweet but comforting, without being overwhelming or flat vanilla; the notes are balanced. It reminds me of Lolita L and a bit of Fleur de Corail (I don’t know why I can’t mark them :/). Lolita L was more sophisticated; this is for everyday wear, I wouldn’t wear it for a special occasion. Longevity and trail are good, noticeable even if you haven’t bathed with it.
