  I tried the Boucheron Pour Homme EDP in the clear bottle, and it’s a gem: a sharp citrus of bergamot, woody notes, roses, and brushstrokes of a wet forest. The opening is soapy, intense, and exquisite, like a dose of energy. The longevity, being an EDP, lasts up to 6 hours of sillage; if you take a step back, you’ll understand what I mean. I’m sticking with this, but not the EDT.

  Exquisite. As @wildkatzen says, it comes in translucent glass with a matte finish. I use the EDT in summer, but the rest of the year, this is my office signature: delicate, masculine, and no-nonsense. It’s vintage but not old, with a high-end soapy touch. It starts invigorating, evolves slowly, and dries down to an invisible finish—a puzzle of chords in perfect harmony. I remember when I got a promotion at work; the challenges grew until I felt it was time to show that new level of maturity. A pressed shirt, comfortable shoes, a classic watch, and Boucheron took me to the next level in front of my colleagues, building the facade of that building my hard work forged. Because sometimes perfume is exactly that: the representation of something else. A silent, universal language that lets us travel, decree, and even bewitch in an instant. Boucheron is my favorite. A gift from destiny.
