Boucheron was founded by Frédéric Boucheron in Paris in 1858. The first shop was at the Palais-Royal; in 1893, the house moved to 26 Place Vendôme, an address still linked with the brand.
Fragrance arrived in 1988, when Boucheron presented its first perfume in a ring-shaped bottle. The current catalog brings together eaux de parfum and other concentrations alongside jewelry. The house history explains why fragrance names and bottles often connect with pieces and symbols from the Boucheron archive.
