Starts citrusy and spicy, driven by vetiver and pepper, with a light touch of orange blossom and neroli. Then it evolves into wood, highlighting the vetiver until it’s just that. Terrible performance, about four hours, and zero projection; barely noticeable after an hour. Recommended for heat and daytime use. Seems more masculine than feminine.
Neroli with a hint of pepper, then it fades away. That’s it. Perfect for spring-summer and daytime. Weak longevity and soft sillage.
Bois Blonds or Bois Tocomocho: the shortest review of my life because it smells like nothing. It’s like a homeopathic water with almost no citrus trail. Neither I nor a police dog can detect it; it’s less than 20% cologne. The worst from the brand. No sillage and no longevity, worse than the last Mugler. It’s a comfortable family fragrance that turns bitter if you focus on it too much. A rip-off: for the price, buy half a kilo of fresh shrimp and an Albariño wine; your stomach will thank you.
Smells good and fresh, but it’s predictable. Neroli, vetiver, and wood dominate, though the incense is barely noticeable. The citrus notes evoke the Amalfi Coast—simultaneously acidic and sweet.
